I know how to get a high score in outrun 2SP by slimstream passing, but there is no slipstream in outrun 2 so what do you do for a high score?

@Supermarioking13 The quicker and cleaner you played overall the more score you would get. There was also a bonus score for the amount of seconds left on the clock when you reach the goal which made GOAL E the route to take as it was the shortest.

The game above is OutRun2 for XBOX, not OutRun2006. The mode is OutRun mode, but the PRO cars go 186mph where as with OutRun2SP they go 182mph. The style of play you see for OutRun2SP would be with the Tuned Time Attack. Check my vid page and look below for one called:

"Outrun 2006 Coast 2 Coast Outrun Mode highscore super replay".

Classic arcade. I know the the Dreamcast has the original Outrun in Shenmue II. It might be true the Xbox version of Shenmue II had Outrun II. Ask an Xbox player of Shenmue II.

If you took a look at my video info you would of seen its two different games sliced into one movie. Shenmue 2 for xbox has OutRun 1986, just I cut the vid and fitted in a replay of me playing OutRun2 just for fun. And as OutRun2 replays go it wasnt some noob run, infact alot of people have never seen it played this way so thats a bonus for the viewer haha! ;-)

The Outrun 2 game was released in 2003, so the original Outrun arcade game from 1986 should have been used instead, as the Shenmue 2 game is set in 1987. Or, the storyline should have been set 20 years after the events of the original Shenmue.

Outrun 2 was never part of Shenmue 2. This video is fake! If you look at the arcade machine, before the actual Outrun 2 game begins, you can see, very clearly, that it is the original Outrun game. Think about it, why in the world would Sega include a game, which was not even done at the time Shenmue 2 was released, as a feature.

Seriously, after being completely immersed in the Shenmue world, I heard about the giant saga that was going to unfold. The awesomeness of Shenmue with the superb quality of the DC had my cousin and I eagerly waiting for the sequel.

Then Sega cancels Dreamcast altogether out of the blue and gives the *exclusive* rights to the sequel to Micro$oft! Ever since then I've held a personal grudge against Sega.

I think they do that through maintain max. speed for 99% of the time. I saw this trick preformed by a guy which can drift without lowering down by 1 gear. I still cant figure out how did he do it. That guy did 4mins21s too for his best record.
