  • I love the Bible verses at the end!!

It's late..but congratulations on your baby boy. Stay healthy.. thanks Hope to hear from you often.

  • I like your food so much...

  • I made something like this on Friday night with penne. My oldest boy helped me cook and it turned out awesome. Mashisayo!

  • Always like your recipe!!^^ easy to understand and eyes feasting too.

  • looks great. I'm a college student, so all I eat is pasta anyway lol

  • is it a must to use the cream??? i tried to cook it without cream n only milk but the result kinda bad

  • @allson24

yes.. you need cream for right texture and taste for the sauce..

  • @allson24 You can, make a carbonara style sauce with egg yolks. You can achieve a nice creamy texture and consistency without cream. The cream though, is awesome. lol.

  • @MrJingjong ah i tried using the egg yolk too but it ended up the egg cant merge well with the sauce and i smell something bitter from the sauce eventho i used pretty small fire..is there something wrong with that?thank you

  • @allson24 When you toss the pasta with the egg yolk in a carbonara, do it right in a big bowl that you'd serve in, not on the stove. The heat from the cooked pasta is enough.

  • @MrJingjong ah so its not cook together with sauce?...but should i toss it before or after i pour the sauce into pasta?thank you

  • I will try this recipe soon, as that looks delicious!

  • what can be a substitute to heavy whipping cream? this looks so yummy :)

  • @yumiro45

  • @blueturtle298 koreans love pasta...with a side of kimchi or pickles or course! :-)

  • nom nom nom!

  • Looks delicious but I won't make it for myself cuz it seems quite high in fat & cholesterol. A dish for healthy skinny people for sure.

  • any replacement for bacons? i cant eat them.

  • @26150375 Ham or Turkey are probably pretty good replacements. :]

  • yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmyyyyyyy i gotta try this!

  • love it

  • My mom used to always eat cream pasta with kimchi! This brings back fond memories of my mom, thank you Aeri~

  • I've been searching for this and now I found it! Thank you so much. What I usually do is that I mixed milk, pepper and cheese, it does taste right but I think it's not delicious at all. but thank you! I'm going to try to this. my mom keep on wanting me to cook this xD

  • my mouth is watering...

  • The chef at the local Italian restaurant would always say you add egg separately about 2-3mins before serving so it doesn't over cook and you get the nice creamy flavour from the yolk. Worth a try.

  • OMG Unni, this looks AMAZING! I love your voice too, btw =D

  • LOOKS YUMMMUY

AERIS can you make a video on how to cook kelp soup that koreans drink on their birthday?

  • @shunna1213

I know what you mean..it's not kelp soup..it's seaweed soup.. I will add it to my list.. thanks :)

  • That looks good.

Many way to make a cream sauce and everybody is little different than others but everybody love it.

    Have a happy holidays.

  • I am Italian and hun, nice job ^__^ To add more flavor you can always add a bit of nutmeg to the sauce~ I looove my pasta with panchetta bacon as well. looks lovely as always!

  • Thanks for posting this it looks yummy! Hopefully when I try this it will come out great like yours

  • It's pretty much carbonara, which is always awesome. Always.

  • Aloha Aeri, another great recipe! I will sub smokey tempeh for the bacon and use some plant based alternatives for the dairy. But ohhh, good comfort food. :)

  • This looks really easy, im going to try making this after finals :)

  • dis bacon is ham!

  • This looks so good. I'm going to have to try it tom. for my family. Thank you for sharing this recipe. :D

  • This looks so rich. Maybe perfect with kimchi side dish? .. ( o . o )

  • Flavour it up, add cornstarch to thicken the sauce and it really needs cheese!!

  • "sees her finish cooking the noodles in the sauce" -- thumbs up :)

  • Yummy

  • THAT LOOKS SO GOOD! DX

  • I want to eat ir right now it looks so good!

  • Hi Everyone, I forgot to mention that I used turkey bacon instead of normal bacon in this video. I guess that normal bacon will make more grease than turkey bacon when you fry them. So you can either reduce the butter amount or wipe some grease from bacon after it's fried.. or if you think it's okay, just leave the way it is.. hehe thanks

  • Aeri that really looks delicious!

  • looks so good!!!!!!

  • can you make miso ramen please !!??

  • @senie27

I think that miso ramen is a Japanese food..but I will add it to my list for you. hehe thanks :)

  • @aeriskitchen thanks a lott :D

  • Your voice is so sweet

  • Ohhh this looks delicious! I am definitely going to make this sometime this week! Thank you so much for sharing!

  • please don't put oil in the water... it prevents the noodles to soak up the water and makes it harder for the sauce to stick...

besides that it has no effect at all. if you want to prevent the noodles rom sticking together then add the oil after you've drained them.

  • @Invisiman

Oh really. Thanks for the tip. I always add some olive oil when I boil my pasta. I think it gives some flavor and changes the texture a little too... Maybe I was just accustomed to do that by watching some cooking channel.. like food network. Thanks again.

  • This looks like the pasta Jihyun eats on 49 days..

  • 6 bacon strips per 6oz spaghetti - sounds like my kind of dish!

  • @Higgins2001

My husband thinks that 4 strips of bacon are enough..but I liked more bacons in it like you. lol

  • @aeriskitchen This may be the first time that I've heard of a woman wanting more bacon than a man.

  • Looks so so tasty!

  • Looks yummy and thanks for sharing.

  • this sounds super simple but delicious! I'm super excited to try it :)

  • Very nice recipe :) in time for my Hoiliday Party :)

    감사합니다 ^_^

  • Mmm yummy...

Aeri... Can u make a video for red bean soup? With rice balls?? Please..

    Kamsahamnida.. ;)

  • @MsOrangetree82

    hehe.. okidoki ;)

  • @aeriskitchen yes please!!

  • Awesome recipe! Thank you!

  • I've been told that you're not suppose to add oil to the pasta water. It prevents the sauce from adhering to the spaghetti.

  • @slin6363

Thanks for the good tip. :) My spaghetti got enough flavor from the sauce..but what you said makes sense. hehe..

  • @aeriskitchen aeri, i put the olive oil on the pasta after it's done cooking and drained.

  • @slin6363 interesting, I always thought you add oil so the noodle won't stick to the bottom of the pot....

  • @slin6363 Omg, that's why the last couple of times I made spaghetti, it didn't taste right! Dx I usually don't use oil in the pasta water, but I decided to try adding a little olive oil to it and whenever I would put the sauce on the noodles later, it would always be runny and the noodles hardly had flavor Dx I never attributed it to the oil, though, I just thought I was having a bad cooking day xD Thanks for posting that tip! ^^

  • @slin6363 If you use very little oil and cook al dente, because for some reason you cook the pasta beforehand, you can get away with it.

I cook large portions of pasta(and rice) in advance and often eat it in the morning and sometimes late at night. That way I can cook something up fast and not wait for water to boil and pasta to be ready. Makes cooking up some food faster than waiting for the frying pan to get hot(and a lot healthier).

  • @slin6363 you can add oil, but you can't rinse the pasta after draining is what i heard haha

  • Looks Heavenly Aeri!
