One would think that a game based on the anime film Akira would have more emphasis in action rather than on racing. Especially since the movie had a very in depth plot.

But if you played such a game as a child, you have your nostalgic link anyway and might like it or even more! bttf2 was ridiculously difficult, accomplishing it once in a life time is a great effort. Anyway i liked it very much and play it on emulator once in a while. Well, i like bttf 2 although it might be shit. I sense nothing for this - plus it is shit.

Anyhow, do you think you could try getting farther in the game using my advice? I don't own an Amiga, let alone the game, so I can't play this game, and I heard there's sidescrolling later on... PLEEEASE? Thanks!
@alex76gr Ah, I'm a mac user :/ Thanks though; unfortunately, the game gets really hard towards the end eventually. You get to do platforming, though, which is... a matter of opinion.
@alex76gr: Amiga 1200 that includes the AGA chipset and ability to interface with a Compact Flash card goes for around 20 GBP. Why can't you just buy one. The emulator still struggles with syncing to smooth refresh rates and the experience is not as fun as the real hardware. Why cant you just buy one, they are all over .eu ebay.

Owning or not an Amiga is not a problem.
You can download Winuae if you have a PC+windows.
With Winuae you can emulate all Amiga models and play the 99.9% of its games.

@Paperclown I own 2x A1200s with accelerators+HD+CF adapters, 1x A2000, 1x A500 and a CDTV.
I use Winuae because it's the most convenient way for me to capture video from games, that's all.
And btw there's no chance to find an A1200 with CF card for 20 GBP. You can check it out mate.

ICE were crap, nearly all their arcade conversions on the 8-bits stunk of fish eg Hyrdra, SCI Chase HQ 2, and Turbo Outrun was .... passable.
According to Wiki they went bust in the mid-90s (search for ICE_Software) not surprising after this game!
