i like how seed destiny detailed everything from cockpit to mobile suits and gundam s unlike in other series who goes far beyond the laws of physics and reality.
Had to add Strike Noir too.There are other Gundams strong as or stronger than freedom but I don't know'em all. but I will add Deathscythe and Altron.Kyrios was good too.
i agree, i have seen Exia fight in the 00 series, Im a fan of deathscythe too but i dont think it will match up with Freedom... the creators of Freedom made it a perfect fighting machine capable of fighting in all range attacks, plus Kira..however the weakness is Kira himself, his hesitations to kill and predictability made him loose to Shin but then again in Strike Freedom he ruined Shin's Pride... and Strike Freedom is too much of a mobile suit opponent.
If I may interject, I believe Kira to be a pretty good pilot better then most give him credit for but for anyone going up against him the best thing for them to do is to use a Gundam with a Core System that would give them the biggest edge against Kira.

Yes, yes, everyone knows all the Gundams in Wing are made from plot alloy armor and are invincible. My insult towards my most hated Gundam series aside. You are right close range Gundams are better then long range ones but only if they have the speed and maneuverability to close the distance and get in attack range without being overwhelmed by long range attacks.
Hax aside DS can do it. Mobility and Stealth are its advantages.Its fast enough and has a Hyper Jammer to get in there and do damage. in the UC era Hi Nu Gundam would be more than a match. Its armanent Funnel system and speed/mobility would more than match SFreedom. SFreedom is cool but its overrated.
It's a fact that SF is EMP shielded, but on the other hand, DSH's hyper jammers' effect doesn't act like an EMP so there's a high possibility that it would render the Quantum computer and the aimbot(multi-lock on system) useless. So Kira's only hope is close combat which is Duo's field of expertise along with stealth.

But that active cloak has ANTI BEAM ability and grants it stealth.The hyper jammer would ensure that SF couldn't get a lock.And SF is 80.09 tons compared to DS 7.4 tons.DS has speed and agility on its side.SFreedom only has fire power.

The difference is that the DRAGOONs' maneuvers and patterns are considerably predictable, while a mobile suit has more viable options than just "stop, shoot, move".

Well, Freedom does look impressive, but only against grunts.
In fact, Kira doesn't really have a good record in melee combat against named characters, aside from grunts who just stand there ready for Kira to grind them.
Just because Kira doesn't kill(which he still does) doesn't mean he isn't fighting at his best(which is SEED mode[which is the physical representation of surpassing one's limit]).

Kira is a very good person, he doesn't kill soldiers who fight him, only those that do serious harm like enemy figures and such. You can see when Kira hits all of the parts of the gundam except for the cockpit. 1:36

it looks like kira can activate his seed anytime he wants. but ppl like athrun need to be extremely pissed off to be able to get it. Shin is getting better at it, but not at will.
I believe GSD was ruined from the beginning, not when Kira took action. First they ruined the original cast, making them OOC and dumbing them down into doing things they wouldn't do. Then they ruined the new cast. I don't think people should be hating Kira and Shinn because of their characters and motivations, but should be hating the bad writing of the creators.

I'm kinda upset that the Buster, and Duel was decomissioned after the 1st war. Since Morgenroete made them, they should've at least retrieved the Duel and Buster and upgraded it.

I think all the parties were guilty of shedding innocent blood whether it be Zaft, EA and even Team kira. It's a war afterall but as usual the director took a biased side towards you know who.
A poor accusation, Gundam seed Destiny had the worst plot out of any of the Gundam series especially considering that a secondary character hijacked the show to replace the supposedly main one with a plot armour that keeps him from being killed off when he was due time.
If Gundam 00 was ridiculous, i assume you didn't see what Gundam Wing went with 5 pilots against the entire world as well.

This is where the roller coaster starts again. I dare say that Gundam SEED had a lot of spin-offs but most of it had something to do with the main plot and main character. This includes any episodes from Gundam SEED Astray and Gundam SEED Stargazer... All in all he had made around 100 episodes for the Gundam SEED Series. In which some were flashbacks. But this was then.
Even Gundam 00 didn't have that many episode and a lot of questions remain unanswered, to be revealed during upcoming movie.
Main plot and main character? Who was the main character in GSD? Was it Shinn? Was it Kira? Until this day, the director say its Shinn but the fans say its Kira. How does one explain it rationally?
00 had unexplained questions? What about Gundam Seed issues such as Kira being blown up in his Strike Gundam dead point range and still surviving it? No explaination unless you read the Astray Manga which people hardly even bothered. The Flashbacks were terrible use of stock footages.
Yeah, I'm sure he disarmed Rau and then he died because he choked on his dinner during the fight, and I'm sure he disarmed Stella and then she died because Shinn has bad breath.
They still fight, Kira just leaves the soldiers he "disabled" very vulnerable, they might get killed by battlefield scavengers and kills them. Nothing good will come from what Kira is doing, he's just causing unnecessary deaths.

ok... are those guys right there rau and stellar? He killed rau because he had to, Stella killed herself cause she was some emo bitch and he stopped the Destroys beam to save others. And no, they dont get killed by others you see, ex. episode 23 of Destiny, they ALL RETREATED, so yeah he does do some good

They didn't retreat because of Kira, The AA and Freedom just left the battle field for no reason, and you know? Heine died there because of Kira so it wasn't good and you'll see some body bags of dead people in phase 24 which Kira was responsible to.
dude, you say that disabling leves them vulnerable, but most of the time he's the only one fighting in the other side so there really no one else to attack them. Also, about the unnesary deaths part, if he didn't stop both stella's rampage and Rau's plans, lots more people would have died, and if more people dieing than less people dieing isn't unnessary deaths, i don't know what is.
I'm sure you forgot Kira's intervention at Orb preventing the invasion of ZAFT, because of his actions and also Athrun's, they let Djibril escape, and you know what happened? A lot of people died at the PLANTs, see? More people died.

ya, thats true. but all he was doing was protecting his sister's country. but didn't Djibril get caught by Cagalli and get arrested right away? about the death part, i thought no one got killed. i guess i need to rewatch. anyways, i think Kira is strong and knows everyone wants freedom since he has the machine called Freedom. Kira was protecting his sister's country which was STILL allied to the EA and was housing Djibril(not that fag Yuna, the other fag who wears lipstick). When Djibril escaped(because of Kira and Athrun), he went straight to the REQUIEM station on the dark side of the moon and fired the WMD at the PLANTs, probably killing millions of people. It's episode 43. I'm just pointing out some flaws of Kira.
Yeah and Cagalli didn't even tell ZAFT about it. She already had command but she didn't use it wisely, she should have announced that she had command over Orb back as it is. Therefore contradicting what Kira was doing at the time.

first, they retreated because the captain of the minerva ( can't spell her name) took comand because Djibril escaped which could hav been avoided if Zaft gav Orb another chance.
It's Gladys, and no, ZAFT was there to capture Djibril, it's pretty simple, even Durandal said they were there to capture Djibril. And why would ZAFT give ORB another chance? ORB allied themselves w/ the Earth Alliance and attacked the ZAFT forces several times.
You're wrong, Orb and Kira we're the ones preventing ZAFT from getting Djibril in the first place. And Orb said that they didn't have Djibril, pretty much denying ZAFT's request. I think you guys are arguing about the Side who has the higher moral ground which porta proved to be ZAFT.

Let me join in. Orb's soldiers were killed because of Yuna's decision to protect Djibril because he believes in Djibril's philosophy and was in cahoots with him because of political gains. Other than that, Orb back then (when Yuna was in charged) joined forces with the Earth forces which made Orb the enemy of ZAFT and PLANT. Cagalli wanted to protect Orb. Orb is an independent nation and mustn't bow to any sides as stated in Gundam SEED by the Lion of ORB~
You're wrong. ZAFT had to use force because The Seirans lied about Djibril being in Orb plus Cagalli wasn't there yet, Cagalli was willing to turn in Djibril IF she had Djibril in the 1st place!
What Cagalli and Kira was doing was to take Orb from the Seirans and defend Orb and not let innocent people die, but since Yuna Roma Seiran was Commander-in-Chief because of Cagalli's absence...the gov't had to follow his orders even if the orders are crazy.

Well even if Djibril GOT KILLED in Orb..Blue Cosmos WOULD NOT hesitate one bit to fire Requiem at the PLANTS. Don't forget Blue Cosmos isn't just one person it's a group of people.

If Djibril got killed in Orb, that WOULD NOT change the fact that Cagalli (ORB) and the Clyne Faction would TURN DOWN Durandal's Destiny Plan. When Orb and Clyne turned down Destiny Plan, ZAFT would still attack ORB.
Djibril is in command of REQUIEM he is the only person that can fire that machine, and he is the only person INSANE enough to fire that machine. And LOGOS members were already captured by that point.

ZAFT never attacked anyone when Gil announced the DP, Scandinavia refused the DP but they were never attacked, and if you listened to Durandal, he said HE GAVE EVERYONE A CHOICE to refuse or accept it. And ORB attacked ZAFT by the way, not the other way around in the last episode.

Next, the DP does NOT give anyone a choice because if it's going to "end all wars" than it must encompass ALL of humanity, and if even a single person or group doesn't accept then the DP fails. Third, there's no evidence or proof to show that the DP works because if you actually think about it, it's impossible for it to work, not to mention contradictory.

Fuku's interview is found on Dec 2005, Animage(If you're not familiar w/ the mag then it has a cover of Shinn in a pose, I'll send you a scan if I can).
He is the Director not the writer. That's why Morosawa submitted the Scripts late, so that it won't get edited by the animation editors for any errors. Therefore screwing the whole Seed franchise. At least Astray is still alive though.

expand your horizons man, sure I enjoy jap with english subs alot more. But sometimes it's pretty interesting to see how the dub handles some situations, sure most of them are crap.... but dont hate on something that's actually not bad.

Yeah, those two were pretty damn good, I'll have to agree with you on that. But two voices don't make a show, and I enjoyed Mwu's Japanese voice more, he voices alot of characters I like.
only english dubs suck because it doesn't give you the kind of feelings the original dubs do. plus english dubbing of anime is only for people who can't read or understand to watch it.
Actually Gundam SEEDs Dub is considered on the level of FMA and Dragonball Z in that its on the level if not better then the original Japanese version.

I believe GSD was ruined from the beginning, not when Kira took action. First they ruined the original cast, making them OOC and dumbing them down into doing things they wouldn't do. Then they ruined the new cast. I don't think people should be hating Kira and Shinn because of their characters and motivations, but should be hating the bad writing of the creators.

A poor accusation, Gundam seed Destiny had the worst plot out of any of the Gundam series especially considering that a secondary character hijacked the show to replace the supposedly main one with a plot armour that keeps him from being killed off when he was due time.
If Gundam 00 was ridiculous, i assume you didn't see what Gundam Wing went with 5 pilots against the entire world as well.

This is where the roller coaster starts again. I dare say that Gundam SEED had a lot of spin-offs but most of it had something to do with the main plot and main character. This includes any episodes from Gundam SEED Astray and Gundam SEED Stargazer... All in all he had made around 100 episodes for the Gundam SEED Series. In which some were flashbacks. But this was then.
Even Gundam 00 didn't have that many episode and a lot of questions remain unanswered, to be revealed during upcoming movie.

Main plot and main character? Who was the main character in GSD? Was it Shinn? Was it Kira? Until this day, the director say its Shinn but the fans say its Kira. How does one explain it rationally?
00 had unexplained questions? What about Gundam Seed issues such as Kira being blown up in his Strike Gundam dead point range and still surviving it? No explaination unless you read the Astray Manga which people hardly even bothered. The Flashbacks were terrible use of stock footages.

They still fight, Kira just leaves the soldiers he "disabled" very vulnerable, they might get killed by battlefield scavengers and kills them. Nothing good will come from what Kira is doing, he's just causing unnecessary deaths.

dude, you say that disabling leves them vulnerable, but most of the time he's the only one fighting in the other side so there really no one else to attack them. Also, about the unnesary deaths part, if he didn't stop both stella's rampage and Rau's plans, lots more people would have died, and if more people dieing than less people dieing isn't unnessary deaths, i don't know what is.

Kira was protecting his sister's country which was STILL allied to the EA and was housing Djibril(not that fag Yuna, the other fag who wears lipstick). When Djibril escaped(because of Kira and Athrun), he went straight to the REQUIEM station on the dark side of the moon and fired the WMD at the PLANTs, probably killing millions of people. It's episode 43. I'm just pointing out some flaws of Kira.

Let me join in. Orb's soldiers were killed because of Yuna's decision to protect Djibril because he believes in Djibril's philosophy and was in cahoots with him because of political gains. Other than that, Orb back then (when Yuna was in charged) joined forces with the Earth forces which made Orb the enemy of ZAFT and PLANT. Cagalli wanted to protect Orb. Orb is an independent nation and mustn't bow to any sides as stated in Gundam SEED by the Lion of ORB~

You're wrong. ZAFT had to use force because The Seirans lied about Djibril being in Orb plus Cagalli wasn't there yet, Cagalli was willing to turn in Djibril IF she had Djibril in the 1st place!
What Cagalli and Kira was doing was to take Orb from the Seirans and defend Orb and not let innocent people die, but since Yuna Roma Seiran was Commander-in-Chief because of Cagalli's absence...the gov't had to follow his orders even if the orders are crazy.

Well even if Djibril GOT KILLED in Orb..Blue Cosmos WOULD NOT hesitate one bit to fire Requiem at the PLANTS. Don't forget Blue Cosmos isn't just one person it's a group of people.

Djibril is in command of REQUIEM he is the only person that can fire that machine, and he is the only person INSANE enough to fire that machine. And LOGOS members were already captured by that point.

ZAFT never attacked anyone when Gil announced the DP, Scandinavia refused the DP but they were never attacked, and if you listened to Durandal, he said HE GAVE EVERYONE A CHOICE to refuse or accept it. And ORB attacked ZAFT by the way, not the other way around in the last episode.

No, having a gun being pointed at you for refusing to follow someone's order is not giving someone a choice. Next, the DP does NOT give anyone a choice because if it's going to "end all wars" than it must encompass ALL of humanity, and if even a single person or group doesn't accept then the DP fails. Third, there's no evidence or proof to show that the DP works because if you actually think about it, it's impossible for it to work, not to mention contradictory.

Oh and By the way, Gunota headlines only lists public interviews, meaning that interview in the magazine is a private interview w/ Fukuda. I mean, if he had a public interview with a lot of people present(most would certainly be some of Kira fans), a lot of people would most likely rage there and then. And I heard from Mark Simmons who worked for Bandai said that, Bandai litterally forced Fukuda to make that interview after Morosawa's disaster of an interview.

1) It's LOGOS, not Blue Cosmos, And Djibril is the only person in command that can fire REQUIEM watch the episode again.
2)The only reason that ZAFT was at ORB is for Djibril only, that's why retreated after Djibril escaped, instead of destroying the nation. And Durandal gave everyone a choice whether to refuse or accept the DP, and REQUIEM is only used to protect himself from hostile factions like the Atlantic federation were planning to attack ZAFT during the same episode .

only english dubs suck because it doesn't give you the kind of feelings the original dubs do. plus english dubbing of anime is only for people who can't read or understand to watch it.

Actually Gundam SEEDs Dub is considered on the level of FMA and Dragonball Z in that its on the level if not better then the original Japanese version.

except for the dubing with Lacus' singing, that was a little off, but other than that it fantastic and they even fixed that problem in Destiny
