  • Looks like Clown's voice

  • Bader field runway length is 2,950'

  • He not only landed at the wrong field. He landed down wind and touched down 2/3 down the runway. The company owning the jet bought a new one after this one was scrapped. It is registerered OY-WET. They do have a sense of humor.

  • @schr75 Just for info: It was his own jet and it was owned by his own company..........he even "flies" a chopper. Scary, eh?

  • @Wiperman66 I didn´t know that. Scary indeed. Duck and cover everybody.

  • bloody danes....

  • it was perfect touchdown.but the is no break.i guess.or maybe due to sudden gust.=.=..hope it's okay

  • OY is for Denmark; Finland is OH-

  • OY is the call sign for Finland, if I am not mistaken. The pilot is an idiot to confuse the airstrips and also evacuate leaving the turbines running. I hope he lost his license.

  • He was trying to get that plane back on the shore, restarting the engine wasn't a mistake.

  • wow that jet floats pretty good

  • Poor jet :'(

  • "Ladies and gentlemen, this is your captain speaking. Fortunately, we made it out of the ruff patch and came in for a smooth finish. Unfortunately that is because the last 100 yards or so we were cushioned by water. I know you have a choice when you fly and I know you won't make the same mistake again."

  • Wasn't this guy on that TV show 'Wings'?

  • did they died?

  • @davidgrahamscott You're a dip-shit...

  • I like how the plane is dubbed as a jet boat! :-D

  • lol why did the plane tried "swim away" after everyone evacuated?

  • How freakin bizarre!! Assuming no one was inside at the time - who ever heard of an a/c self starting after an accident like that?! An electrical short initiating the full start-up sequence?...what are the odds?? What were the thrust levers doing out of idle?...results of an attempted go-around maybe? Very weird...

  • I would like to punch the cameraman in the face.

  • Dude, rename title to "how to turn your jet to powerboat" :)

  • Comment removed

  • @aprpro1 lol

  • Bet NTSB loved this video.

  • Lamest police siren ever! :D

  • at 03:31 The guy with the grey facial hair & light blue shirt is the owner and pilot of the aircraft, Eric Larsen.

  • You guys did the right thing by checking it out and contacting the authorities, kudos.

  • shared on great flight videos fb and flight videos twitter page....do subscribe them for more videos

  • When lands in the water no one gives a fuck, but when Sulley does it the fucking world stops turning

  • it's a danish buniess jet reg, OY-JET! completely crazy, looks like the've had too many Elephant beers during the Transatlantic flight!

  • The plane that replaced this (OY-JET) is called OY-WET. The owner has a sense of humor.

  • I think you have to put your hand out if you want him stop.

  • Downwind on a wet runway ... Oh Well ... It seemed like the airplane was having a good time.

  • He's no Captain Sully!!

  • clearly the jet wanted vengeance for his actions lmao

  • love the cameraman commentary @ 5:14

  • I just have two questions out of this whole video..

1 why are you filming on / in the airport runway field and no one is telling you to leave??

And 2 why were you filming there in the first place??

Did you know this plane was going to do this???

While I will admit is all seems real I am still just a weary skeptical that you happened to be just filming on a runway like that..

  • @orangie84 well it said that jets dont land there, thats why it was jumpy at the start.. it was unexpected.. and im guessing they worked there.. not that hard to work out!

  • went from plane to boat to submarine in less than ten minutes

  • @dodgedart74 Actually, dd74, he went from plane to boat, to submarine, then to jet ski in less than 10 minutes!!

  • that pilot probably wants to drown himself...how embarrassing

  • rogue plane...

  • Ladies and Gentlemen, I now present you the film "Psychopathic Killer plane....from HELLL!!!"

  • did anybody else see the reversers were out so why was it tring to go forward?

  • Your life in their hands! Thats why im not a great flyer

  • so if they were not permitted to land there... WHY on earth did they clear them to land there!

  • Every landing that you can walk away without any harm is a good landing. Despite anything else.

  • I just checked out Google Earth and I can see there is a large cross painted at the start of each runway to indicate that the runway is closed. Unless this was an emergency landing, I think the pilot stuffed up big time.

  • @Tommyinoz1971 The large cross is meant where to touch down in order to stop before the runway ends, in this case i guess.

  • really fuk up

  • I'm sure some might say congrats to the pilot for having full survivors or what not, and I'm not sure if this was just a dumb mistake on which airport the pilot was landing at, but wow, talk about making some very bad decisions. 1.) Lands at the wrong AP. 2.) Lands downwind. 3.) Leaves the fuel switches obviously on (maybe a short but I think he just ran scared). 4.) Didn't get his ass back to the Airplane to fix his failures. That could have taken out a city block..

  • This is the craziest shit I ever saw! The airplane just wanted to stay alive! :)

  • Pilot or... ex-pilot?

  • The pilot is just taxiing to parking...

  • How would the jets survive that long in water?

  • @pwkn0

No, now they had a new plane their calling "OY-WET".

  • Wrong airport, then he lands downwind, THEN he doesn't kill the engines after crashing, the commentary by the two photographers is "Nut-ball" and "that guy is one crazy S.O.B." before they even know he has crashed.... I hope the FAA took his pilots license, I don't want to be anywhere near him if he is flying. MORON.

  • Ok, i live here, so let me hwlp out all the guessers. The pilot thought he was landing at Atlantic City Int. Airport, which is located about 15 miles WEST of AC. He was wrong. He was actually landing at Bader Field - now cxlosed - which is located about 0.5 miles outside AC. JETS ARE NOT PERMITTED AT BADER FIELD. THE RUNWAY IS TOO SMALL - OBVIOUSLY. He thought he was at a different airport.

  • Yeah, thats what I think. But I think tits kinda obvious, becuase AC Int, is not anywhere near the city.

  • haha tits

  • @markscarpa If the airport he was originally to land on was 15 miles away, the winds are probably the same or very similar. Why the hell did he land downwind?? Then after the crash he didn't even cut the fuel and left the engines running. How did he ever get to be a pilot???

  • @markscarpa ...unlikely...the pilot MUST have had a gps system in this kind of plane...to me it seems like he had some sort of problems with the plane otherwise he wouldn't have landed with tailwind...

  • @markscarpa Well he may have been wrong, but he KNEW he was landing at Bader. I quote the NTSB report: At 1540, ATC instructed the pilot to "proceed direct Bader, descend and maintain 1,500 feet. Expect visual approach." The pilot read back the instructions, stating, "thank you, direct Bader, descend to 1,500."

  • @markscarpa but how would you explain the charts found clipped to the yoke that was for this airport he landed at and clearly had marked on it "CLOSED TO JET AIRCRAFT" but still that is the dumbest pilot i have ever seen

  • @markscarpa Pilot is still an idiot, in part the FARs (Federal Aviation Regulations) requires a pilot to familiarize themselves with both the departure AND destination airport, on top of that this is a high altitude aircraft which means he should have been in contact with Air Traffic Control with an active IFR flight plan. Some pilots manage to think that their license takes the possibility of death being a factor. Thank GOD no one was hurt and all are safe and thanks for the information Mark.

  • @markscarpa He knew this is Bader. AC Int. has control tower. Bader not. This guy was just an ahole with a pilot licence he bought in USA. Landed on wrong runway too dam fast with a tailwind. A student like dam pilot error. As a CFi I landed a lot of times on same that runway. You circle airport at over 1k' to check the winds, then you do the approach.

  • @markscarpa I live in South Jersey too. I saw someone on YouTube who had reposted the video and said it crashed into ATLANTA bay... Doh

  • i landed at that private strip before and its not fun landing they mostly use it for helicopters

  • lol "that guy is one crazy sob" Lucky passengers, silly pilot

  • Well I guess this is what you run the risk of happening when you try to land down wind and on a wet runway. This pilot tried and over shot the runway.

  • q malos pilotos eh,,,,no solo se tragan la pista sino q hasta dejan el avion prendido luego del accidente.....un -10 para ese comandante

  • I would have punched the captain right on the nose then feinted from dehydration due to excessive shittage of my pants

  • Atlantic City.... Dude probably had a major league gambling jones going on. I hope he got some good comps and a free room out of this trip.

  • Pilots are supposed to shut the plane's systems down before exiting

  • from talking to a aircraft mechnic the water could have shorted out the controlls causeing to fire up or dumbass polit forgot to turn off the plane in the attempt to abandon the aircraft wich the planes starter shorted out causeing it to start up

  • he will never fly again after this. the faa will take his wings for this. he should be flying a 172. thats more his speed. me and my dad used to fly our saratoga there and is a very short runway. they closed just for stupid things like what the guy did. this is where they get this saying .."everybody wnats to be a jet pilot"that plane in the right hands is no problem at all there.

  • I know this sounds stupid but I feel sad for the plane. It looked like it was splashing around trying not to drown. Okay I think it's my time of the month...

  • On May 15, 2005, the Cessna CitationJet 525A registered OY-JET overran the runway on landing, ending up in the adjoining Intracoastal Waterway. An eyewitness video of the incident captured the overrun sequence, the rescue of the plane's occupants by local boaters, and the subsequent inadvertent operation of the aircraft, under engine power, as an airboat or speedboat. Source Wikipedia

  • why didn't the pilot go around at that speed

  • how the fuck did this guy ever get certified to fly that plane... the worst part is he tries to fuckin taxi it like its a seaplane after.. ITS TOO LATE BRO YOU FUCKED UP A CRANE IS ON THE WAY LOL

  • that was crazy!!!!!!!!!!!

  • why does the engines started?

  • It probably would've been better if the pilot turned off the fuel-pump.

  • @EtzEchad When you're plane is filling with water, that's not exactly the first thought.

  • nice vid, shame the pilots were pricks.....lol

  • lucky that boat was passing.

  • @ dieselnutt:

Exactly my thoughts. I guess the pilot was some spoiled old fart who flew the plane to impress some chicks he wanted to test his Viagra on later in the day. However he almost killed them instead. What a stupid, irresponsible idiot! Some people should not have money!

  • WTF was this guy drunk? Landing down the wind doesnt seem right - even when I flew my small remote controlled glider back in them childhood days I didnt do that on it! LOL there go a few hundred thousand dollars! ^^

  • lol, that plane costs about 10 million bucks buddy

  • kick ass jet tho...............

  • The guy thinks it is a seaplane! Way to funny...or sad...What a waste...

  • I laughed so hard : THAT GUY is 1 CRAZY son of a bitch...

  • This is some rich Danish guy. Note the plane reg is OY-JET. He simply bought another Citation and registered it as OY-WET. At least he has a sense of humor.

  • This is Bader Field, Atlantic City, New Jersey. It's closed now, it wasn't a controlled airport. No jet aircraft were allowed to land at Bader Field since the runways are very short.

  • planes for sale on ebay,

  • Time to get oars !

  • no a old mobile phone

  • holy shit that was epic did he through a pistol on the dash

  • What moron would do that? Didn't he get a wind check?

  • Man that was Funny

  • "You wanna tell the cops just in case",... :)

  • Holy shit he came in fast.

  • What is the first word he's saying? Thanks

  • is the pilot inside during re-start, whats happening, auto-pilot?

  • Why would a pilot restart an engine in the water on purpose?

  • Not sure when it happened but this happened at Bader Field in Atlantic City, New Jersey

  • anyone died? damn this is kind of creepy

  • 1111th rater! :)

  • WTF Was it a danish plane?? Where was this?

  • dam that really scared u know phew!!!!

  • the scary part continues at 5:13

  • I don't think this was part of his flight plan.

  • The scary part starts at 4:05

  • Nice jet what a shame. This guys new cessna registaration number is oy-wet.Lets hope his next registration isnt oy-doa.

  • "Is somebody in there doing this?" - What a dumbass...

  • hey chris its charley eddy lol ;) i thought it was you by your name hun lol. wtf is tat about people fainting on your videos but i loved them hun! :D xx

  • Where is the tail # from ?

Why did he decided to land with a tailwind?

  • Pilot ist debil....

  • Ladys and Gentleman we have arrived final Destination...

  • ROFL, just wen u think uv seen everything.....

  • Reminds me of the movie 'Flying high'....strange decisions from the pilot ....

  • he madeit

  • i hope to God this pilot is in jail...

  • That guy,was one,crazy son of a bi*&^% ....

  • He was in a hurry needed a place to shit

  • "They redefined the word 'gambling' in Atlantic City" "maybe it'll taxi back on land" hahaha lol.

  • Where is this?

  • The now-closed Bader Field, near Atlantic City, New Jersey.

  • When he landed he was going way to fast to be on landing.

  • lol!! and another hollywood movie!! teehee!! :P

  • yes

  • Actually it's a Citation 525A

  • NoWay man... Dosn't look like one...

  • Its a citation 525A

  • yes

  • I agree. He was coming in very fast. Being downwind on a wet runway didn't help!

  • he landed way too fast.......

  • "I think they made it!" "Urm nope, come on lets get down the pub!"

  • lol

  • YEah, guess who's getting a citation ;-) LOL

  • What made the engine start?

  • Regarding the sea plane. You must not have seen the pontoons get dropped off just before the plane landed. I could see them clear as day. Of coarse this is not a leer jet, it's an amphibious plane made by the amphibious plance corporation of Big Beaver Creek, Alaska. And it's a twin prop...........I love it when people try to tell me how wrong I am about it being a Sea Plane................It's a dry sense of humor ok. Laugh about it. It's sarcasm.

  • for a second i thought that was the hudson river crash

  • What they failed to tell you in this video is that this is a sea plane. He's about to turn it around and fire up the turbines and take off again. He just dropped off a few passengers in the pond for a rainy day of fishing. He's going to be up and flying again in no time. Those sea-planes are just amazing.

  • I really dont think so.

  • yes sea planes are cool, but this one is not. if it was it would have pontoons mounted under the fuselage or the fuselage would be the main source of buoyancy. this plane doesnt look very buoyant in the water.

  • a 80 year old lady was flying that plane!!

  • didn't you want some chopped tuma? there you go...

  • lol nice tail number " OY-JET" Oi! Jet! Get away from this fuckin runway!

  • poor fish

  • No running out of fuel, but out of power or overburn the engine. The problem is that the pilot is 2 times crazy, stupid, and criminal of the airplane. Why people there didn't act fast with few boats and ropes and cars??? Landing down to the wind and then starting jet engine in the water is some crazy pilot which has to pay all damages!

  • omg i would shit my self and die twice...

  • i think when the jet landed in the water the water choked out the engine. so the fuel system kept pumping in fuel till it ignited again and then the engine powered up, then it probably ran out of fuel. I guess the pilot did full throttle to try to take off just before running out of runway then the water choked out the engine so he thought it shutdown and he left. Thats my guess. its a shame for a nice private jet.

  • Very feasible, but shouldn't the fuel cutoff switches be applied as a safety measure before evacuating the plane? I mean, it could have started up while people were climbing into the boats.....

  • I think the plane was low on gas

  • so thats what a jetboat is

  • Cessna citation

  • Man, those poor pilots... I'm a pilot-in-training, and I'd hate to make a simple mistake in judgment that ends in something like this. I'm glad everyone seems to have walked away though.

  • How is it possible for a jet engine to suddenly power up like that, unless there was someone sitting at the controls?????

  • I'm speculating that when the plane ran out of runway the pilot applied full throttle as desperate measure to takeoff again. When the plane landed in the water they simply left, and when the plane was towed the plane was emerged from the water just enough for the engine to start functioning again. Again this is speculation from my part.

  • he left the battery on and the ignition was still on from the landing....

  • haha yes, he left battery on, ignition at full go, and also both engines had full rich, my guess, dumbass doesn't even know how to shut the thing off if he was pressured to... hahahaha

  • jets dont have "mixture full rich" there chuck.....

  • yo that is in in atlantic city

  • Comment removed

  • OY-JET

  • Well it seemed the pilot was there all along with the passengers on the boat

  • Dont think Pilot completed evacuation checklist, dont really blame him saving his skin but that plane could have blown up killing rescue workers and or general public who had nothing to do with this flight.

  • Oh man! As soon as that jet started powering up and moving, I was like, GO JET GO!! Poor thing. It just wanted to get out of the water. Also, I see a whole new mode of transportation on the open sea. Take the wings off old jets and fit a hull under them, lol.

  • There is. Look around this site for the "Caspian Sea Monster" or "Ekranoplan".

A relic of the Soviet Union, I think there is a group of private investors trying to revive the project and make it state of the art.

  • Google "bugatti yachets" I think.

They're turning them into luxury travellers.

  • wait is that bugatti as in bugatti veyron?

that yacht is really cool btw

  • Not sure but would love the ekranoplan.

  • that pilot is so fired
