  • As good as these guys might sound, visual effects are also just as important when it comes to imitating The Beatles. If I'm paying good money to watch a Beatle tribute band ...they have to look the part as well. What really spoils it for me the most in Beatle tribute bands is seeing Paul McCartney being represented as right handed bass player. No matter how good they may be at playing bass...right handed just looks wrong and spoils the illusion they are trying portray.....sorry just an opinion.

  • wow do these guys have an email or a fan page, I WANNA KNOW WHERE I CAN GET A BASS LIKE THAT or did he pain it ?

  • when i saw jimmy page and robert plant he pointed at me

  • I saw them in november theywere great. and i know someone who knows the person who plays paul.

  • "Ringo" kept pointing and staring at me... haha

  • @Kingdedede2008 saw them last night--awesome show !! Ringo came up to stage & talked to me & Paul shook my hand--too bad it wasnt the real ones !! Peace/Love

  • @squyres

    nice! that's so cool

  • wow!

  • Wow the vocals are almost dead on and their harmonies are very accurate and highly impressive! I wanna see them live!

  • lucky! they didnt play it in st. louis! where was this? and why didnt they play it? i really like this one

  • This was in Toronto. I don't know why they wouldn't play this one, though!

  • I'm going to see this tomorrow afternoon with my mom and I can't wait to see the tribute to the Beatles! I always loved the Beatles ever since I was little! I loved them because my dad loved them! If it were'nt for my dad I wouldn't have liked the Beatles!

  • That's funny!

I saw "Rain" today..and "John" was pointing and staring at me!

  • Haha hilarious!

  • The piccolo trumpet solo is truly what makes this song unique, and provides a wonderfully dramatic crescendo, and you EDITED IT OUT??!?!?!?

  • I didn't edit the video at all. I don't know what you're talking about. :\

  • Could the crescendo you are talking about be in A Day In The Life?

    MC

  • No, it is supossed to be a crescendo of the trumpet in the Penny Lane song, maybe in the performance they didnt play it

  • I know what your are talking about...the piccolo portion was cut short.

  • if yu close your eyes yu really cant tell the differnce. thy're tht great im telling yu. and yu will be surprised at who yu see ther. its kids from 6 years old and up with the whole beatles haircut and everything singing every word of their songs.

  • These guys pick up where 1964 the Tribute leaves off. I like this slightly slower tempo.

  • the best of the Beatle tributes and i have seen most of em.

Last night on Long Island was fantastic.

  • i'm glad you pulled out your camera; i was too chicken

  • I might be seeing them next week- as a rule cover bands are lame (sorry, it's true) but I've only read good things about them,- knowing that they will never TOUCH the Beatles in greatness- should I go see them? Just throwing this out there (preferably to someone who's seen Rain's live show).

And (not that it matters MUCH)- just how old are these guys? I'm 15 and prepared that most of the audience will be my parent's age.. (again, just from what i've read, give me info please!)

  • Well obviously they aren't anywhere near the Beatles. But they really do sound great.. When you're there..It's like being as close as you can get to seeing the Beatles preform live. The first time I saw Rain, it was just a day after one of the most devastating days ever, but during the Rain concert, I forgot about it all.

And yeah, most of the people there are going to be closer to your parents age. There are some younger people but don't go there expecting to make friends your age.

  • If you are so disturbed that I brought a camera to the show, don't watch my videos.

  • Exactly, mind your business, loser. "Prolly" some dork that works for Rain. "No canera's" whahhhhh, I'm a baby!!!

  • Ardy Sarraf of the Fab Four is way better but Rain's John Lennon is awesome, especially for the older later 60s stuff

  • Sahem about the bad editing job in middle of this great tune.Saw these guys in Toronto where Rain have been financialy cleaning up cos they are good in concert it freaks you out!

  • lokdmngsz

  • I just saw the shot where he kept staring at you. I would've stopped too, that would've been scary.

  • He winked at you, your lucky! I wish i could have been winked at! I wasn't in the front row though i was on a balcony! where was this at??

  • i was at that show

  • ha! you're lucky, I got busted with my cam phone (and I was up in the balcony) hint for videography: take off the autofocus, zoom in, rack the focus ring on the farthest object, and then zoom out (then you won't get those pesky unstabilized shots when moving the cam around. see you at the ACC with Billy Joel! p.s. I'll be staring at you...staring..staring..lol

  • Why were you freaked out? xD You should have kept on filming to see what happens, that's what I'd do. =P

  • Well I stopped filming, but I kept looking at him. He winked at me, and then I had to look away. It was creepy!!

  • might've spotted the camera... or he just fancies you ;-)

  • He was telling this person in the first row to smile when I was at a show. And then Ringo started smiling at this little boy in the aisle and had them point the camera at him during the audience sweep.

  • I think that would've been cool not creepy!
