@EnigmaticUnseen me too. for me Quake I & II (+mission packs), Dark Forces I & II (+mission packs) and Unreal I are the best FPS games and are my favourite. Then we got games like Quake 4, Jedi Outcast and Unreal II, which to me were not bad games, but disappointing and unplayble when compared to their 90's siblings. But then Killzone game and had the thing that made Quake so good. Killzone 2 was just as good and so I too think Killzone 3 is going to be fucking brilliant. Can't wait!

have you noticed that the only females in quake are on the stroggs side? all human soldiers are male - which is sensible in a way as we men are expendable in much larger numbers when it comes to the survival of the species.

appart from any femalecharacterroles missing the rather simple story and hard to acquire quakeatmosphere would require a director and writers who are true masters of their art and let's be honest - these kind of projects are not often given to/accepted by these kind of people
