I'm guessing you have problems playing octaves because you did octaves with both hands at one point and you have trouble hitting the right key with octaves.

I have a lot of trouble with octaves as well, mainly because the songs I do using them are fast =P

This is probably the most accurtly done verson on youtube well do on not trying to play it at a fast pace which is what ChrisBlueStone does its way to fast for the piece as this may be a tad to slow but then when the piece, that is the Actual piece, is just as long then you know that youve done a great job and another thing ive noticed is that ChrisBlueStone also puts heavy emphsis on the lower keys too.

This is a lot of fun to play, but if u can, replace the chords at bar 29-30 and 112-119 with semiquavers broken chords, e.g. for the first chord in bar 29, play semiquavers Top C, G, E flat, Top C.

This song is actually the piano collections version of a song called "Clash on the Big Bridge", which is from the game itself.

So he plays a part of that song -the opening to be exact, and afterwards plays the song "Battle with Gilgamesh".

Why he mixed the two is beyond me, but they are two different songs.

I also agree. I can't read music but I got the intro down by watching. It's hard at first because it feels like each hand is playing a completely different melody and I couldn't really focus on them at the same time but once you practice enough and get into the rhythm it gets easier and feels like you're just making your fingers dance in patterns.
