I remember watching this short as well as many others created by you as a kid. Watching them now just brings back so many great memories. Its like a huge rush of nostalgia is pumping through my veins. You are a legend Mr. Matthews.

This scene was from the first Curious George book that was published in 1939. The author, Margret Rey, once told me that she and her husband, Hans, were just escaping Nazi Germany when they wrote this book. She never dreamed their monkey would become so famous.

No, it's not Frank, it's the very talented Corey Burton who did all of the adult males in the show. If you listen carefully, the guard in the jail sounds like the gate keeper in the Wizard of Oz. I should also mention that 911 did not exist in the early 80's; otherwise George would have certainly used it.
