i got a hella big problem here. i did everything in your vid. so i wait for it to finish jaibreaking and then i got a message saying somthin along the lines of "tmp#####.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience." and i got that for like 3 tmp files. then it said jailbreak complete it should restart a few times then my ipod went it recovery mode and now it's not being reconzed by itunes to me to sync it or restore it. I REALLY NEED HELP PLEASE! THX

Well, i downloaded Ziphone to mac, downloaded it, jailbreaked it, and it was working but then no sound on the apps, turns out Ziphone thought my ipod was an iphone, but i clicked ipod. and it started to download again and then the white font on the black back round started to repeat "BSD root: md0, major 2, minor 0" and i cant "kill Ziphone" if you know how to fix my ipod, please reply.

can someone please help? everything goes fine until i have to open the .bat file. i double checked to see if all apps having to do with apple or itunes were shut off, i made sure i installed okto prep, and the .bat file just wont open! it flashes for like a milisecond, and i cant click on it.

Hey -

You need to install java. Google Java and install the software and try again.

Because with the new installer, if you try and install something, and it says you need to install something else first, it will add what you just tried to install to a "queue". So you need to click "Clear Queue" first, THEN install BSD Sub. Because it still thinks you're trying to install Summer Board... I know, weird, but it's the way the new installer works.

It's because in the installer update a lil' bit ago, when they went to Version 3, they made it automatically OkToPrep the iTouch and iPhone. Problem is, I can't figure out the new method of jailbreaking 1.1.2 with it. And the old method doesn't work...

If you're running 1.1.1 and want to upgrade to 1.1.2 but still jailbroken, then yeah all of your apps will be lost because you need to restore.

I've never ever come across a completely bricked itouch yet but have seen minor cases. All that you do in that circumstance is hard restore your device.
