I think it is a metaphor saying that everyone has his or her own baggage that they want and will try to hide it from others. It might be something so small of a deal, because other people might be going through the similar thing, just like in this animation. People are unaware that, ultimately, everyone has some kind of baggage in themselves and we often forget that we are not alone on this planet.
