If it was OUR fault, why did TDAmeritrade immediately unfreeze it after a complaint was filed with FINRA, & reimburse him the cost he incurred because they bounced his checks? and 3 months later, called us to apologize & begged to re-open the accounts? The issue is not just they froze an unlinked existing account, they did so without notifying anyone
The account is not yours. It is your fathers, for benefit of you. All brokerage and financial firms have fraud prevention in place. You sent a bad check, they froze all accounts belonging to him. It was your fault.
In the video you indicated that your dad needed that 30k but you claim to have millions in other accounts (post). If so, who cares about 30k for a couple weeks?
When you mess up, own it. Don't create a video every time you mess up.

@TheBrokerageFirm The freeze is likely automatic-bounce a check, they freeze your accounts. What if someone tried to cash a check through your account nefariously? How would you have reacted if someone was able to mess with your money like this? The complaint probably got them to work faster, and they did what they would have done in time. Did it take too long? Maybe.
I still maintain that you sent a bad check to start this. Had you not done that, this doesn't happen.
