The first time I heard this song was when we were deciding whether to adopt or not and we were watching a video that the adoption agency gave to us and after watching this d.v.d and listening to the song we decided adoption was what GOD wanted us to do. Now we have a beautiful little girl that is happy to have a home and a family all the time!!!!!!!

My parents were considering adoption. They went to a youth workers convention and saw him there.  He wasn't able to sing but he showed them this video. My parents knew right then that God was definitely calling them to adopt. I now have two younger sisters adopted from China.

Steven had recently lost his voice when this video was shot - he was told he might not ever sing again...during the shooting of this video, he realized that, instead of lip syncing, he was actually singing along - that's when he realized he was able to sing again. Praise Jesus!

I feel so bad for the family!...this was their little girl that they just lost in a tragic family accident. This family was introduced to our family shortly after the decision was made for our family to adopt another child (ended up being given the chance for three) and brought great comfort to my family after the failed adoption of one of them - my brother! It broke our hearts and brought such grief - and this song brought the comfort in the midst of that grief. God is Amazing!

You know, the Bible says in I Thessalonians 5 that we are to give thanks in everything, for this is the will God in Christ Jesus. It isn't necessarily just His will that we give thanks, but it is that we are to give thanks because it furthers God's will in our lives. Think of Job. Job was righteous but God took what Satan had deemed for evil and made it for good. Job draws closer to God and repents of his self-righteousness. Sometimes there are lessons that are tough to learn.

I've asked myself this same question and when I look into his word, the resounding answer I always get is that when tragedy happens, we get to have God's comfort, his healing. We grow. God NEVER promised we wouldn't have pain or hurt. He does promise to restore and heal and comfort. While a tragedy has occured here on earth and we all greav, in heaven the angels rejoice and his daughter is now walking on those streets of gold with our Lord and Savior.

just a comment idk wat you will think but my grandmother died recently i was crushed but about 1 month after it i found out that her death brought 3 people to christ i think this is one of many reasons god lets bad things happen........
