Nice alto solo -good sense of construction. Mingus is an interesting choice. This tune from "Mingus Ahum" circa 1959.

I get your point there brian. I once listened to the "Mingus Ahum" album by the late legend himself. You're absolutely right, Mingus is an interesting choice.

The thing is that these girls play with fire, abandon and great energy . This is what Mingus wanted from his players in the original version. Let it all hang out-raw and dynamics be damned. BFJO plays it exactly that way.

Yeah she's awesome on the drums. She's probably a female Buddy Rich or Gene Krupa. I actually seen her on some of the other videos but I wanna find out her name. Nice Kick!

Just curious...what is the name of the drummer? I've seen her in a few of the other videos and I must say that she's got a great feel for the drums. Her solo in Caravan was killer!
