Stunning vocals on both songs. Love the closing refrain on "AAG". Carrie knocks it out of the park yet again. Hoping that album #4 will show more vocal nuance and shading and more mature themes. Often, it seems, Carrie is singing songs that appeal to girls 10 years younger than herself. Her version of "Neon Moon" at the Brooks & Dunn tribute is a perfect example of the kind of songs she should be singing as her career advances. Hey, how 'bout a few dance lessons too!

@2005Carriefan Don't get me wrong. I'm a huge Carrie fan. Just hoping the new album shows growth (lyrically and emotionally). "Play On" was not quite as good as the first two records. In recent interviews Carrie has said the new one is "eclectic" and she is looking for vocally-challenging songs. Just what I wanted to hear. Should be a good one!

@xunatu Carrie's power, vocals, spirit, songwriting, and beauty shine through on this performance... it gets no better than this. Who can combine all the elements & deliver a knockout punch EVERY time she performs in the studio or live? One word = Carrie. I am so mad the CMA and ACM screwed her over all year long even though she had her best year ever... ACM should be ashamed and revise the nominess for ETOY to include Carrie. The only way to beat her is to ELIMINATE from the voting...sucks.
