You have to plug in the included controller but then there is a switch to allow you to buddy box your real controller, I have not tried it but was glad to see that it was there. I think the controller feels well enough that I never had to do it.

dont you think they should make a realflight model rocket sim, with a usb launcher, igniter and have a plug and light on it, then you should be able to change fields/airports and change the rocket

This sim is great I have g3 have flown g4.5 and am surely going to get g5. The 3D backgrounds ability to hit buildings and scenery makes it so much more realistic. Thank you hobbico, greatplanes, and knife edge software for making such a great product. You all have one very happy customer

wow...this game looks PHOTOREAL. how far away can you fly? can u actually hit those trees way back in the distance? how does it work? is it a 2d background??

@KuostA there both. 3D Maps where you can hit "the" trees and 2D maps with a photographic background.

@KuostA Yea u can fly pretty far. I got mine up to over 100000 feet. You can hit all the objects that are on all the airports. I think it can be 2d but mostly it's 3d.

The G5 is really a nice step up. Can just imagine G10 in the next few years wth the 4G and 5 G internet/networks etc. Tre' Bon, Janick. "Wheel Up!"

i like alot of features on this, it adds the 1st person cockpit view and thats nice cuz u get to enjoy it like its a video game while still gaining the muscle memory of a rc remote, not to mention the wargame modes, makes it feel like a game while you are still learning the controls better. seems worth it.

i just got bought the upgrade from G3.5

i have a few friend with G4.5

this upgrade is not that great, I can't tell if it has better graphics but the sound it improved. G5.0 seems unfinished, already noticed a few glitches and unfinshed backgrounds (like cartoon mountains)

I would underline the word -> RC.

It was above average before, now it looks pretty stupid if you ask me.

Lol i agree this was the bigist let down of realflight i own g4.5 and no way i am spendin my money just to fly in first person view and have gog fights thats defeating the hole point of rc flyin :/ thats why u dont see menny people in g4.5 very good at rv flyin because they to busy flyin in first person view
