@TvFilmandVideoCLG Thanks for the feedback. This video is a few years old, so it does have that classic VHS feel to it! Check out some of our newer videos and let us know what you think. If you have any ideas on how you think we should try improving, let us know!
I like how the guys like "we're going to be watching our film off of this ipod to synch the sound, or you can use a tv or projector if you don't have one". Uhh why would you not want to watch it on a tv screen instead of a tiny ipod?
Thanks for this tip. I'll be sharing this with my students in the coming week. I know more theory stuff rather than practical stuff so I constantly have to come to youtube for tips of this nature. You can bet that I'll be checking out your videos more frequently from now on.

could this technique be used to dub over dialogue to make it sound more professional?
LastStretchFilms 2 years ago
if you want to re-record or overdub the dialog, then it's called ADR or Automated Dialogue Replacement. And yes, it's also used alot in filmmaking.

I don't think the celery worked. It sounded too wet. cracking wallnuts would have been so much better I reckon :p

An ice cube tray works, and it's less messy.

Would love more tips on foley items for horror / action scenes.

Only thing missing is the blood-curdling I BROKE MY ANKLE scream, but that's easy enough. Good demo and a nice use for celery, lol ;-)
