Superb. I have the original Dream Band recording of this. As good as Mel was, I think Frank Capp channels him pretty well here, and that's saying something. The whole band just cooks, and Mr. Capp is a big part of that. It's amazing how well this chart has stood the test of time.

Mel was one of the greatest big band drummers of all time ( Jo Jones, Buddy Rich, etc.)

Swinging stuff! The original Dream Band in 1959, wow, that was the band!
I see some of the original guys in this video too!! But without Mel Lewis, well......
