  • thumbs up if you skipped to the end

  • What timer are you using?

  • On big cubes, centres become more boring to solve taking a higher percentage of the solve time as the order of the cube goes up. I own a black SS8 and I like solving the edges much better than solving centres. I also have a white SS6 and it is very good.Much better out of the box than a NIB V-cube 6 though a full "pi" mod on a new V6 does even this out.

  • are you jew? (because of your last name)

  • wow... Wow... Nothing else to say about this solve. I think thats the UWR to you.

  • Sorry this is gonna be weird, but... are you Dan Cohen?

  • OLL skip is such a minor help on an 8x8x8 it's not even worth mentioning.

  • is it better because the outer layer is bigger so it is easier to turn?

  • is the quality of SS cubes good, or just ok?

  • Have you done any mods to your SS 8x8? It looks like your doesn't lock up too much but mine does.

  • That's boss

  • Finally, a cube so huge that only you can speedsolve with it, haha. Nice solve, might I add.

  • is this the unofficial world record on video?

  • what timer is that

  • Your cube is awesome!

    You're awesome!

    AWESOME!

  • I do sub-7 in a 7x7, nice job dude!

  • It's a man...solving a man's cube.

  • Wanna race? I do 6x6 you do 8x8 it should be extremely close. My pb on 6x6 is like 7 minutes flat

  • When solving the edges do you solve all the white/yellow ones first or just the easiest ones you see?

  • @musli4brekkies white/yellow. I do it on 5-7 also, but it really is great for lookahead on bigger cubes.

  • @masterofthebass

    I've got a question.

My PB on 6x6 is 2:23 with 1:56 reduction, and my question is: Do you think i should only on 3x3 phase in 6x6 for some time?

  • whoah! amazing

    timer?

  • K4 it, please! :D

  • UWR

  • Dan is the only and the best! <3

  • UWR it think? Really nice! The cube looks pretty small in your hands.. i have big hands to, but i don't have the 8x8, so i can't compare :(

  • I like how centers are more than half the solve. It seems that the bigger the cube, the longer centers take than edges.

  • I hope you review this cube. A review I can trust.

  • @xxoxia eh... My review: its good.

  • @masterofthebass - Is it better than the crappy SS 6x6? Actually, does it even feel anything like the 6x6? And, do you like the 6x6? Mine is a piece of garbage. The tensions feel all uneven and it just pops all the time.

  • @xxoxia The 8x8 is waaaay better than the 6x6. I really am not a fan of the 6x6, but at the moment its my "best" one.

  • @masterofthebass - This is good to hear. I have an unmodded V6 that is way better than my SS6. Luckily, I pay for things in £.

  • @xxoxia Do you have a black 6x6? Mine is crap, too, but the white ones seem to be better. True or not?

  • @lilbjoern - Yeah, I have a black one. The main problem is when you do 2 layer turns, your finger just pops the edges out, but if you tighten the cube, you wouldn't be able to turn it. Never tried a white one, but I have a black and white SS5 and the white one is WAAAAYYY better than the black one.

  • @xxoxia thanks. Same by me on 4x4 5x5 and 6x6.

  • Did you mod or lube yours at all?

  • Yau method¿? XD

  • where to buy 8x8 and bigger cubes?

  • @CubeMaths

    Google is your answer

  • How fast do you think people will solve this puzzle? Is sub 5 possible?

  • lolfart

  • What timer is that?

  • first

  • @izovire

Lol, btw your uwr now got beaten xD
