I ran into a mercenary wearing this armour i already had the boots. She was near winterhold. She was rude to me so i took her armor. I find it better than mining and making it my self. im not a good smith. I just enjoy the armor and if i come upon a better set ill take it.
But I don't use deadric armor anyhow, I just find it innsulting you would compare this game to some crappy impossible anime clothing where the guy runs around in ten ton armor and moves like the wind or wears a chest plate the somehow protects him more than full body armor.
Let's see demons, dragons, gods, giants, trolls, magic, dovakiin, giant spiders, witches, necromancers, orcs, cat people, Lizard people, and not mention elves...and spikey demonic glowing red armor is out of place? Wow I fail to see the logic here. There have been armors made like this in the past in real life, I doubt the helmet was but the rest, meh, and despite being usless as practical armor they were likey used to cuase their opponent to become fearful of a "demon" warrior or kinght.
so far ive preferred nightingale armor set the most.. for LA and i use chillrend sword. and blades armor for Heavy.. blades armor just looks really cool. i wonder what glass stats are & what it looks like.. and scale..
is it me or does it seem like finding these higher end armors is impossible. im mid 30s and all my enemies still wear fur armor and a few rare steel or plate. i cant find any good armor. i MIGHT find a dwarven boot or elven sword or some shit but never anything good.
@Pr0fessorPwnag3 well im pretty pissed. i WANTED to FIND all the armor i use. but i ended up making a deadric armor set and spent a large portion of my horde of gold i was saving to buy a house in solitude with on the materials. just when i finished and got back to some questing i started finding ebony pretty commonly in the end areas of dungeons. jesus christ. now the ebony is useless to me besides maybe making some money off it.
@gibblets17 I found an ebony shield in one of the caves or dungeons (don't remember exactly which sorry i found it pretty early in the game when i was exploring) and i found ebony armor in a chest at Irkngthand during a thieves guilt quest. I still have yet to find the gauntlets, helmet and boots. You can definitely find the whole set randomly its just very hard. Smithing the whole set is probably the easy option.
@gibblets17 well im only at level 29 now so idk if that means i got lucky or what lol. deadric i think u need to be around 50s to appear randomly im not sure tho
If you are playing on PC, all you have to do to get whatever armor/weapon you want is press ~ ingame and type coc qasmoke to get to the room with a bunch of chests with all the items in them. Just be careful not to pick up anything quest related.
I can't find the mines that'll give me Ebony Ore :( I'm trying to make it but so far I'm stuck with Steel Plate armor o: though it's awesome and just a few minutes ago I killed an elder dragon x3
@Slavemaster1993 you need 100 smithing and to have unlocked the needed perks. And there are two dragon armor sets; one is the light armor which is made from scales and the other one is the heavy armor which is made from bones.

This may not be the best armor , but it is the best looking one in my opinion , the game needs a few more steel looking armors that are really good , the dragonbone and deadric armors look more like from a anime serie then a viking world.

@zrhtemplar i too use dragonplate armor now , and i must take back what i said about this armor it does look very barbaric and does fit the nord style , i like it much more now , but the deadric still seems a bit out of place to me , dont get me wrong i know that dreadra are part of elders scroll but the armor looks like something you would expect in mass effect or something , to each their own off course i know there are alot of people who do like it and will disagree !

@creationoftheworld Actually it isn't a viking world. Its in a world/country called "Tamriel" Skyrim is the north part of Tamriel. So not everything is going to look like it was forged by vikings because some of it was forged from people in the south who have diffrent ways of crafting items.

@pjrene Skyrim is a viking/nord province of the fantasy world tamriel , yes i know this , and mods are all a matter of personal taste , i would not want anime armors in my game , their out of place and do not fit in the game world , and i know that deadric are demons part of the elders scroll story (you dont have to tell me the history i play these games since morrowind) but in this game the armor seems a bit out of place in my opinion !

@Kuoin There is only 1 mine with ebony. Gloombound Mine way over on the east, follow the edge of the mountains.
Ores replenish every 30 in-game days.
