  • i dont see where in the 1 arm push ups

  • Congratulazioni! Bel video ;-)

  • When ur going side to side that's a variation of the typewriter push up.. The thing is to move ur body in a circle.. When u go down is where u get the side portion of it.. then change direction.. Works better than just going side to side..

  • thanks

  • It is not so easy as it looks ...

    I've tried ^^

  • Hey thanks for the video. Great idea.

  • great job

  • looks like a ninja.

  • looks like a ninja.

  • This is eeeeeasy....

  • hard as you make it. if its too easy you should be doing one arm pushups.

  • I do :) But I try to keep the legs together, Straight body and hand under me and keep the balance only with my muscles....I can only do 14

and if I do it the "normal way" aka spread the legs and bend my body I can do 26

  • it may still be good to do these ones though any way actualy because its a slightly different motion to the normal one arm pushup. it will probably train slightly different muscles.

also what your doing is endurance training. im not sure if thats what your aiming for. but you may wana do some weights or harder body weight exercises if your going for strength

  • Hmm I kinda do this type of exercise to only my range of motion ons much biger so more muscles get training....

Until I can do 30, I don´ think I can do the move freely enought...I mean I know that if you want to train strenght you´re supposed to do max 5 reps(it must be that hard)

But having endurance is also very important...imo anyway

  • fare enough. im more in to strength training personaly.

  • i can't even lift my upper body off the ground. haha epic fail. this is amazing.

  • this is a well good workout im gonna try it

  • spread your legs apart. and put your hands in dimond position. jstu under your chest/ solarplexes.. and do the with one hand.. amazing excerscise.. but very hard to do

  • If you want an excellent workout try doing a planche swaying pushup. It's a planche pushup but as you're down you sway yourself from left to right. Couldn't move my arms or stomach the day afterward. Doing them is a conversation starter though.

  • lol sounds bomb haha. to bad i cant do a single fully elevated pushup s yet haah.

  • could you post a vid

  • Oh ... Thanks Bobby I think these exercises will help

  • Typewriter push ups:D!

  • do lift weights or only body weight?

  • where are you bobby i miss your great vids !!

  • hey. i have more exercises i could film but i havent gotten around to it yet. i mite just film them all one day. this is my other account by the way its got my non conditioning videos on. like gymnastics and parkour you can chek that in the mean time.

  • hey thats good stuff, thanks

  • wow dat has got to kill his triceps boy geeeeees

  • Are they building the muscles for tuck planches and press's ? :) Sory for my english, is so bad :(

  • WTF?

  • HUH wtf? please explain

  • good exercise! thanks for sharing

  • Do you think doing this would be a good way to develop and gradually manage to to real one arm push ups?

  • i think so. but some people say its slightly different muscles. try i tthough it does target one arm alot more than the other. also if you put your free hand on something high like a chair it would be even more hard.

  • Thanks!

  • It helps your arm but not your back. You need a lot of muscles in the back if you do one-armed right. But nobody on youtube does them right

  • show us how it's done then...

  • Yes. This is how I built the strength to do real one-arm pushups.

  • impressive

do you do pull-ups ,arm push-ups every day ?

  • no not every night. i mainly do handstand and planche training. and on the pullup bar i do front lever and one arm chinups

  • On rings they are called archer push ups

"a cross between a one arm pushup and a flye"

  • ah you look so flexible you do splits ?

  • yeah i can lol

  • Bobby do real ones :p

  • i dont like them too much. im not that good at it yet realy its not good enough form

  • fair enough, you best start working on them though :p you don't want a skinny boy like me showing you up eh ha ha.

good breifly seeing you sunday man, if your free sunday try and get yourself to cambridge :)

    training there with the locals

  • id like to. but im not sure i have the time. im realy busy next week!

  • @bobbyconditioning u just gave me a great idea :) dont ask me, i wont tell you

  • @bobbyconditioning Don't need form really, just spread your legs.

  • @bobbyconditioning that is 2 arms push up xD

  • you look like you have put on some muscle since i last saw one of your vids, anyway these are good just tried them perhaps you should slow down a little on the way down though

  • yeah maybe should have.. i kinda didnt think about it enough wen i did it lol.. it was 2 in the morning

  • yeah i know the feeling it's 5:20am now and i've just finished doing god knows how many chin ups and i still haven't fully recovered from bicipital tendonitis from the last time i got overzealous with pull ups i just try to avoid planes of motion that are painful

  • Bobby mate, you like been beefing up double time since i last saw you haha.

  • artist in the family or somethin bobby? :)

  • I take it you can also do one arm push-ups?

  • awesome. i never thought to do that. good tips

  • haha.. those are just like "Archer Pushups" on the Rings. Actually I suppose that's what you can call them on the floor too :)

  • will try

  • good idea to increase the dosage before doing full one arm pushups. helps to stabilize :-)

  • the best way to achieve one arm push ups imo is to progress through various angles of incline one arm pushups gradually coming closer to flat as you get stronger

  • good idea

  • I dont know what to try, I cant see how far your bent arm goes towards your hip (planche pushups). although I can do pseudo planche pushups on one arm, without the straight arm, if that is what you mean.

  • no its normal pushup shape.

    but lean to one arm

  • looks like a drunk guy doing pushups bro ;)

  • lol its not about looking cool. its about challenging yourself

    give it a try..

  • I'm just messin with ya man, I might though, looks like it might be a good stretch on the joints if nothing else. you guys facinate me with some of this stuff, but I'm mostly into Chinese Martial arts....so

  • mite be good for punching strength then ? :D
