sorry but i have played the version on 360 ps3 and pc on standard tv and hd and the ps3 looks far better than the 360 and the pc is in a league of its own depending on your hardware. Most videos on youtube look like crap because people compress the videos so far that the quality is shit.

@TheLifeOfAlvinLowery There is resolutions higher. Most monitors don't support them and the ones that do are expensive 2560 x 1600. I think Maxishine was playing this at some crazy resolution like that xD. Theres no resolutions higher than 1080p for consoles though. They have enough trouble pushing 1080p to even think about pushing higher. Most games have framerate drops on the 360 too. I don't know about the PS3 though.

@PlayActiv Yes but that doesn't show the framerate. The refresh rate and frame rate are completely seperate. They're obviously the same when vsynch is used but if the framerate is capped lower than the refresh rate that doesn't always matter because you can't just add frames (There would be 30fps missing on GTA 4). The framerate doesn't just lock to that. If that were the case mine would always be running at 100fps (100hz). It's actually something like 29.97 that its capped at. Google it :)

@TombMan12 Indeed. Consoles can't push that though, A monitor that supports that is expensive and the rig to drive it would be very expensive also lol. Plus the generic "highest resolution" or "HD" is 1080p as that is the most common highest resolution. Tis why Blu Ray went with compressing/some stretching the footage to that size.
