@ppipowerclass..the newest one are surprisingly way better than last years and the ones before that the last good old school amp that they put out was power class and the old one i have the pcx 1250 mono.pcx class are not to bad considering it was the last year they really need a nice amplifier like 2003.or so i want to say ppi is back finally!!!!
@ppipowerclass..i have a new ppi sedona 2000.1D and its a beast and all the quality is still there just without all the flash. You have got to remember that's why precision power went bankrupt. too much flash and just over spent their budget on every single piece of equipment they produced. I understand you want good looks in good performance. but the company has to pay for it just as much as you do. once you're asking for so much. I thought that precision power was going to suck...
Ding!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"!" Yeah thats one thing you must !!get out of the truck !! holy crap! I just got a sedona 2000.1D and i have a pcx1250.im a really big follower in ppi..im useing kicker subs.4 15s cvr's and 4 8inch subs in my system..
If you car audio people were concerned a little less with presentation, and a little bit more with performance, then we'd be talking. There is a reason you guys are the only ones who have these goofy flat "coneless" drivers. But what would you know of standing waves?
i love ppi ( i mean, look at my name ) but i dont like their new school garbage amps made by ADS... or whatever cheap stereo company that bought them. you want to see a REAL PPI system, look up the Alma Gates PPI Bronco. 64 10's with 32 good amps.
You know lots of 10's are great n' all but I've seen an old monte carlo with complete 1" mdf interior and only 4 15" Direct Drive subs beat a mini van with full mdf interior, windshield bracing and over 30-10 inch subs. Who says you need lots of subs to hit 169db.
All that money, all that time. It looks great, it must just slam. But why please tell me why do you have the door ding still hooked up. I will never understand it... It just kills me.
@el84power If you look at past comments the door chime was removed over a year ago. I was in a rush to get this completed for SBN so I was not worried about petty shit. This vid is very old and this system was already ripped out and I built a new system with new equipment which I just pulled out again as I am yet again starting another build.
@sullengirl99 Yeah I did read it wrong but not the response.I thought it was directed at myself from the okeydokey car audio dipshit you fired away at as he has been up my ass about dumb shit trying to critique everything I do as though he was a pro in this veideo as well as the new build I did.
hey bro..it been a while..i spoke to you befor and at sbn ths year and was just wandering wht been going on is ur truck done r u got something else in the works..i know u made mention of going with more equipment for next year..so let me know aight..
@TheRealSergentSiler Yes that was really a joke..?? If it was a joke it would be taken as such but it was a weak attack or lack their of. Speaking of mature, ding ding ding a hundred times with a all caps statment really speaks of a mature stature.
@master9716 Well it was built to be a clean sounding system with as well as being loud. Yes I did focus a bit on sq but never completed it to the point Intended it to be. However, these subs are intended for sealed enclosures so thats the way I ran them. The new enclosures will not be sealed.
I HAVE A QUESTION PPI PRO 12.4 WORKS IN PORTED BOX AND HOW MANY CU?? BECAUSE I DID THE BOX 1.55 CU WITH 4" PIPE 14" D AND DIDN'T WORK... DO YOU KNOW THAT???
@RICKY01AGUAS These subs are recommended for sealed enclosures only. To go ported takes a lot of calculation as well as reduction in power. I suggest you run these in a 2.10 cuft enclosure/box sealed. This will also give you the perfect amount of wattage from the D3000/1 amp when you get it!
@frescobe 6 total right now but I still have one more to install. I planned to have one per sub amp and another for the vehicle so I could demo for extended periods of time without charging.
Im sorry to hear about how you were imbarrassed that is never good and it was all just because of some stupid rca's I would get those replaced and get your money back because that is like you said horse shit it truly is.. I hope the build is going great! good luck!

@illbreakurface The clear I used was a cheap clear called finish ! avalible at sherwin williams auto refinishing stores. Itwas a high gloss overall but with a fast hardner as it was a bit cold when I shot it. The base was HOK House of Kolor Jet black
How about I remove the module that makes the BEEP BEEP sound, nevermind I just did that after I shot the video. As you will notice, There will be no more of that in future vids!!!!!!!!!
teamlorett, i'm glad to see that PPI is still kicking. too many companies are going out of business. i recently learned of MA Audio's demise. i really like your truck. if you ever need a car to practice on, i'm your huckleberry.
@dixonfrank Don't know for sure yet but it will be all the new PPI equipment. 2 of the new subs that have not even hit the market on their way to test enclosure designs. The speaker engineer sent them out Friday who also happens to be my team manager. Can't really disclose too much but it will be badass. Going to try to up my SPL but still be able to play music and look like a show vehicle. I will post as many vids as I can but it will be tough to put out a lot until after it makes its debut :(
@ddking69 , It is about time someone realized where I was going with this build. This is the new school of old school. I am sick of all the new crap everyone is doing. My wife is new to this and she even said eveything started to look the same at SBN. Just a few hours ago she made the comment that she could not understand why people were so infatuated with this build at the nationals. I simpley told her...Its old school!
Looks really damn good and indeed, would love to hear it...
In regards to the issue with your cables...I feel that I may have the same issue...if I unplug one of my two amps, it hits harder at times...is that most likely the RCA's...?
@FxOxC Yeah I know, Lots of shit on my plate and still trying to recover from the frustration. I will do another vid tonight shwoing the amps and subs under darkness but no heavy bass as my wife and daughter will be sleeping.
