According to intelligent people in usa. You have to hold yourself to HIGH STANDARDS.
But I do hold myself HIGH. I know about STRATEGY (connections). One group is only focused in something while the other group (spiral) is in something else.
@tcm1112 ... and yes it is sth normal the fact ppl here have different hair and eye colour. I've started noticing it because of nasty and crazy videos about italians: basically I've just discovered that the world has no clue about what Europeans and above all Italians are like. It's their ignorance, hence their problem.
Anyway... if you want to know more you can travel and read (serious) books about history. Bye!
@tcm1112 And in fact in my family there's me, redheaded, my sis is a brunette but she was blond in her teens (many Europeans are blond as children and then eventually many change the colour of their hair). My mom and dad have brown hair, but my grandmother had blond hair and my grandfather red (mother side). The others had light brown hair. Our eyes vary from green to grey to hazel. My two cousins have a very light blond and very light blue eyes.
@tcm1112 For ex in my region, which is very small, before the Romans came there were two main tribes: the Celts, and the Gaels. Other EU tribes arrived after the Romans like the Germans and the Normans. Every EU country has a predominant gene (ex. Irish/Celts, English/Normans, Italians/Romans) but we all share the same pool. That's why you can find any type of eye and hair colour in any EU country.
@tcm1112 I am trying to understand what you are saying... I do not know why in Asia, which now I presume is your continent, there's no change in eye and hair colour, but I know why in Europe. In history Europe has always had a lot of tribes with different eyes and hair living in close areas. TO BE CONTINUED
Interestingly, there still remains the inquisitive question or judgment on whether some of the women Leonardo da Vinci painted in many of his famous portraits are men secretly disguised. Interestingly enough, if one was to peer in a magazine or some other form of pictorials exhibiting beautiful women from around the world, most of their facial features are of a masculine-manly nature. "Check-it-out" some time, this still boggles me.
@polymath7 - the comment stated 3 months ago, was and is the basis for art enthusiasts who have posed inquisitive questions about many of Leonardo da Vinci's works over the years; thus, (on my accord) evokes an artistic review of some of his most admired and prestigious paintings to utilize this forum as a form of appreciation and admiration for a great painter, in which like dialogue can ensue.
Well, questions are not automatically worthy of discussion simply for being novel or provocative. There is absolutely no basis for the speculation that any of Leonardo's female sitters are men in drag.
One could muse that perhaps they are not merely androgynous, but androids, designed by Leonardo; but this too would be sheer rectal locution.
@polymath7 - My dear one, are you a fan or admirer of Leonardo da Vinci? Or a critic?
But questions or statements directed at some of the new-age Leonardo da Vinci's fans and/or admirers give speculations as to the depth of sincerity from possible non-fans and/or -admirers.
Instead of rationalizing the comments of one (being lmorganjr) who believes art/paintings of this epic magnitude deserve the pleasant speculations amongst liked beings sharing the same creative abilities, painting skills, art appreciation, and intelligence, thou could perhaps to try to enlighten other non-art appreciative folk who with a trite shallowness for art/painting. However, I can presume that your likeness for art/paintings exudes similar speculations as well.
@lmorganjr It was common practice at the time to use male models for paintings and sculptures of women, and add female heads and and a few other items. It's very visible in Michelangelo's work. All his females have masculine proportions and muscles. Ladies sat for their own head and shoulders portraits like the Mona Lisa but male models were used for depictions of biblical stories and characters in mythology. Check vids of the Sistine Chapel. The gals are built like boxers.
