reason why theres japanese words all over his music video is because he got his fame from japan. he wasnt very interesting to koreans but japanese found him unique and stylish so sony signed him and his records were mostly sold in japan. old country koreans may listen to his tape during long hot bus rides.

He was a kinda comic singer in Korea for a long time, but never had any major hit. Just wondering around retirement homes etc.

At 90's, he went to Japan, and Japanese people thought he's kinda original. He had huge success with Dr.Lee gimmick in Japan, and even had concert in Bo-Do-Khan.

Around 2000, he came back to Korea, and became comic. Not a serious singer. As koala8 said, he's meant to suck.

I'm very impressed by his performance; the sound is extremely cheap and his face is completely queer. LOL I think this song is a mixture of YMCA and Japanese famous ANIME song.
