The reporter was well out of order......We need constructive journalism and not malicious reporting...The guy came across like he's got beef...........Get professional mate!
professionally the reporter scored zero because his question was asked in a very negative manner. However, i think Ojo is a complete ignoramus who just got himself trapped in the situation and made himself sound so so foolish and uneducated. He could have chosen his word carefully and pretended he didnt feel insulted. he could have made the reporter feel stupid with somthing like this: "pls do not take this personal.i can understand ur grievance but remember im only here in official capacity"
My take is that the reporter asked a stupid question, whether knowingly or unknowingly, he was trying to ridicule and undermine Ojo Maduekwe. I also think that Ojo Maduekwe was stupid enough to not answer the question diplomatically but flipped instead.
I mean Ojo Maduekwe is not a good man but there is lack of professional know how on the part of the reporter.....Again listen to him answer the second question...He is trying to separate himself from Presidency while he is appointed not elected by the Presidency.....and later he flip flopped, saying that he was appointed by the president..this is the problem with Nigeria, the Ministers don't know that they are just an advisers to the President.
What is the name of the reporter in this interview and who does he work for? He is a disgrace. The minister is right: He is miserable. Where did he study communications?
the reporter went a little far but he is only speaking the true mind of all good meaning Nigerians Ojo Maduekwe is a fool and only in Nigeria can fools like him find themselves representing the country wasn't he the fool who advised Nigerians to embrace bicycle as a means of transportation imagine such an insult he even rode a bicycle to work till he was injured in an accident immediately he was flown to Germany for treatment how many Nigerians can afford such luxury.ignorance is their albatross
For those who think Maduekwe did not handle it very well i disagree. Telling the minister he had served both legitimate and illegitimate governments is very rude. He even said the man was going about doing his own will.Haba! Pls sahara reporters be professional.
The reporter is not proffessional at all,he ended up insulting the office of foreign affairs ministery of the federal republic of Nigeria and not Ojo Maduekwe, that guy ought not to be practicing journalism. And hear him talking about here not been Nigeria, can you tell American Secretary of State that she/he is a dishonest and miserable simply because you want to excercise your right as a journalist, africans are known to have deep regard and respect for elders...mr reporter you'll reap what u sow!
The reporter is not proffessional at all,he ended up insulting the office of foreign affairs ministery of the federal republic of Nigeria and not Ojo Maduekwe
This so-called reporter is the most idiotic person I've heard in recent time. Personally, I don't like Ojo Maduekwe, but he doesn't deserve that kind of insult. The reporter should go back to school and learn how tactics . "This is not Nigeria". Does American reporters ask 'questions' in that manner? I always tell people that love Nigeria to come back and fix it; u don't vote at elections, u don't do anything good for Nigeria. I guess d reporter hasn't even sacrificed one year for the NYSC
THIS IS BAD JOURNALISM. THE MEDIA GUY WAS JUST BEING STUPID. IF HE HAD A POINT HE MISSED IT. YOU DONT BRING IN SENTIMENTS INTO A JOB OF THIS NATURE.....
@damsel2 what has accent got to do with anything! we are proudly Africans...Nigerians to be precise!!! However I believe the reporter was not only rude but out of line.......Once again the grammar is absolutely right by both parties.(kindly note we didn't ask to me colonized, the English decided to spread but language and ideologies). Hence there accent is right in there own rights. thank you!
If you really want to know who the igbo man of today is, this man above Mr, Dr, Hon, Prof. maduekwe or whatever degree he has or called is the right one. Non of us can do better then him. If Ojukwu were like him, or the falling soldiers, we would have been rejoycing today, but not as cowards. Sometimes it is good to be trickish without judas's idea as to live longer. Isn't good?We are abusing this man but he is happy with himself. ' I better mantain my post,' says he. Stop barking. Action!
Sowore the so called journalist was very crude and rude. Of course he's not a journalist, but you don't need to be a journalist to learn professionalism and manners. Crude and uncouth Sowore.
This Ojomaduekwe is an idiot, i don't think he knows anything he thought he was in Nigeria where he can use his voilent power to harass the interviewer.I believe he was suppose to as a gentle man he claims to be wave what he claimed to be an insult from the interviwer and answer the q.As a person in a public position you need to know that things like that must come up that is why that country may not be ok if we continue to put people like you in our great nations affairs.
no matter who Maduekwe is, as a minister, he doesn't deserve to be ask a question in that manner, if the reporter is a Nigerian, he should not that he is not insulting Maduekwe but rather, insulting the Federal Republic of Nigeria. it is only a Nigerian that will talk to his minister in this way thing he has the right to say what ever he wants. ai ku'a gidan giya akoy babba...
Ojo Madueke is among the "political beasts"that has for a very long time be devouring the nascent transition of our great country, just listen to the way the oaf was defending himself. This same man was a pioneer of Abacha, just imagine people like this don't have the intrest of the country at heart, but their own interest, well God will jugde them.
can some1 put himself in the shoes of this Man....I guess he is doing his Job...even if you are good....holding high position in Nigeria, in the midst and influence of the ruling cabal .....U CANNOT PERFORM.....i do not dispute the fact that he was wrong by insulting the reporter..but we are all Human.....what will u do if u are in is shoes?
please i personally need this tape or a copy of this tape and i am ready to pay whatever it may cost for it to be broadcast in nigerian tv stations. Nigerians must see this and here there stupid foreign minister.infact he should have been slapped!
l am so sad that the press or media still sat to listen to this arrogant, shameless and political prostitute. They should have worked out on him.It hurts my imagination that he thinks he is still in the stone age or in his village where he will ask people out of a village meeting. This man is a disgrace to nigerians and has gotten no shame in him. i still could remember during the 5milloin man march in abuja where he said IF ABACHA DOES NOT RULE, HE OJO WILL DIE!.Shamefull idiot!
what a shameful attitude from a person who supposedly be in position to teach others?, what a strict in-diplomacy floating from the behavior of the one that the masses are cuing to learn from?, what a hopeless power foundation as we are seeing here in the person of OJOMADUEKWE? , what a disastrous and blind representative from the land of the great ?, ooh my peoples, we must learn how to respect and teach these men what is Leadership, God help us !
LOL . The journalist asked a simple question and his tone reflected the tension in the country at that time. The minister is a servant not a god and should have chose right words to answer the question with diplomacy and some humour to control the situation. The matter had gone beyond being professional and the minister shd have been ready for that question if he was sincere.
This is the most miserable guy in the world. I wonder what that guy is doing as foreign minister. What a shame. Avoiding the question, not even making sense, totally useless. If I was his kid, I would be ashamed and disown him.
I am no fan of Ojo Maduekwe as he was a lousy Foreign Ambassador. Whilst I can understand the fustration and passion ( and rightly so ) of the sahara reporter. He began to answer a question, then made statements, then more statements..he showed lack of professionalism and hence gave Mr Maduekwe the chance to avoid the issue. Anyway he is history now so we can all celebrate. Also Mr Maduekwe showed lack of class in public you must keep you cool..not easy. Onye efulefu!!!!
The reporter in anyway was not being unprofessional, what he did was take us down memory lane,we seem to forget so soon, your so called minister should answer the question and not run through his CV..... of what benefit his all his expirience?
i do not love ojo maduwekwe and i wasnt proud of his appearance on BBC,however d journalist here is clearly insolent n unruly..highly unprofessional!!!n pls u fools insulting Nigeria should stay off and mind ur own businesses!!!we are aware of our problems and we WILL solve them!!!
Nigerians wake up. the US govt will use all your troubles to take you to the cleaners..they want a reason to enter the country and establish control of oil supply..This is just the drumbeat..wake up
Its quite unfair, that Min still carry the military mentality era;
First the Minister should know everything rises & falls on LEADERSHIP, if the reporter was not professional in asking his question, he as the so called experienced & gone round minister should have rephrased the question & answer the question. The truth be told, he is a messenger without a message, everyone needs to know the authority behind the words of the minister who are all in dark of situations in the country. God help Nig
Sahara, I often times respect your work, but your method of questioning here won't get you results. I know you are more activists than reporters, but sometimes using journalist tactics of questioning will get you further.
@ceecee1984, your comment is correct!. A professional journalist would pass the same message across professionally and still get a response. There is no way you can ask insulting question and expect a response.
hey guys why do will always critizies our government is time we all come together and repair our country not sit in europe and america to critizes the government....we all forget that america and europe is what it is because of their citized
''Is anybody in charge of this place'' where do you think you are? bloody moron this is not Naija answer the question punk. That is what you expect from angry Nigerians in the diaspora you bloody goon. Misinformation minister.
This reporter should understand that Mr Ojo Maduekwe is not the problem. Mr Maduekwe is a civil servant and during his service life will span over a number head of states/presidents. A dedicated civil servant will carry out the mandates of these leaders. I will expect that this reporter desist from personal attacks and focus on policy issues. The Minister is in charge of the Foreign Ministry and the Reporter should direct his questions to foreign affair issues as it relates to Nigerians.
you really don't know what you're saying mr. man, if Nigeria leaders has genuine intentions for d entire popolace such a man with a questionable xter ought not to be recognised. He was asked a simple question, even presidents do face the same situation. you're struck wit d nigeria mentality
Everybody should know that this world is wicked. In a dream as it reveals many know what is going on and the plan says that whoever says it out must be killed. They are finding a way to put faults. Ojo would not say cause he know the people concern. My dream a sound face was shown in place of him. We all say God and worship. Fela must come out to see that his words are true. Shame unto us we can't find our president they say . He's gone to visit God, his coming. DREAM DREAM DREAM.
The reporter came across as vengeful, inexperienced and unprofessional - that said - the minister was equally uncompromising, undiplomatic and disgraceful with his mode to circumvent the questiion, with so many highly educated Nigerians, it is always depressing to see ministers and leaders that cannot convey themselves in an apt manner..
The reporter from Saharareporter should go for more training. I agree with Sungi2000, Both the Sahara reporter and the Foreign Minister are disgraceful to Nigeria
Maduekwe's behaviour was shameful. We expect more from our ministers, no matter the situation. I guess I am not suprised. He is just the prototype of people that parade themselves as ministers of the FRN.
Both the Sahara reporter and the Foreign Minister are disgraceful to Nigeria. The way the question was framed by the reporter did not seem like a journalist. A common sense should tell the reporter that the Minister has the mandate to speak on behalf of the President/country as long as his appointment is still valued. On the other hand, the behavior of the Minister is quite embarrassing. Nigerian officials must stop using intimidating tactics on its citizen all the time.
OjO generation has fail us. And we all know that Nigeria is an Animal Kingdom, and Ojo believe that he can eat the Sahara Reporter?People like ojo, rilwanu lukman , Dalhatu Sarki Tafida, jubirl Aminu, the Babagida. They dont have anythings to offers us again.
You have not spoke with your President for over 60 days and you are talking of a mandate! You are speaking for your failed evil party PDP and not Nigeria and Nigerians
Much as I agree that the SaharaTv representative was fiery in his question, I must say that Mr Ojo Madueke sincerely lacks any sense of diplomacy in his response. Aggressive attitude and strategies of intimidation remains their tools of business. It is such a shame that our country is being "managed" better put, mismanaged by these clowns who continue to make a mess of Nigeria.
I think the reporter should have been a bit more covert in his questions. Draw him out first, then nail him later on. By coming out with "guns blazing", he did not achieve the desired objective. The minister is not stupid. He does not have any answer to the question, and so he simply avoided answering. If the question had been more coded and not openly critical, we could have drawn more out of him which could form the basis for further critique which would be more difficult to back out from.

I agree with 'pdeji', the minister should have been more responsible and more diplomatic in answering the question the question based on his many years of experience in situations like this. but of course it comes to show the kind of leaders we have and the reason we are where we are in Nigeria....What a shame!
Only a Nigerian self-serving fools that will not take simply questions from the people they claim to be 'serving'! Calling on the guy to come home , the question is, will criminal gangs like him ever allow sense of reasoning to contribute positively without hatching to liquidate them??
Just watch how he was ready to answer the same question from a 'supposed none Nigerian' but was ready to rain down insult on ' a real stakeholder' a 'citizen', Who is this man speaking for? Not Me definitely!
A very straight forward and intelligent question from the reporter, but as usual, the paid old fool that is going around making fool of himself and his people.
What made the question insulting, abusing and disgraceful and does not convey an educated whatever.. Their raw and untamed mentality in Nigeria often cloud their head even when they come to civilised world. A former UK P.M was questioned for hours about his role in ordering Iraqi war, yet he answered.. Could it happen with Nigeria? NO

Under their 'constitution' Which constitution is this old fool talking about? The constitution that Abacha made specifically for his own use, when he turns out being the civilian president that he plotted well before the God of Death paid him.
The people of Abia and indeed Igbo race should be ashamed of this old FOOL!
Funny how some people react, the list shows over 190 comments n 1 idiot is responding like every1 said his wrong.....illitrates will always want to show dem self.
That reporter just spoke like any Okada Man out there....The Foreign Minister responded with the right words for such an empty and ignorant approach to a critical issue as Yar' Adua's absence...lol
It was quite obvious that the approach was wrong, hence the rephrase from the American accented reporter.
someone said the sahara press man was too long, not directive, sensless, & rude I will say the oyinbo man did the same thing, if u listen to him very well, Alagba ojo is the one with a big problem, he is not used to this kind a confrontation and lacks the experience to carry him self in such a situation.
I have to say again, Professor Sowore is my hero. In how he properly poses his question to the snake, he conveys the rawness of how offensive and obscene Nigerian "rulers" and all their representatives, agents and apologists are. He comes from the experience of being intimately acquainted, for years, with the stark brutality of classic anti-human third world brutality 101. This is so real. I truly believe there is no dealing with vermin like Ojo within the confines of polite society. Bring pain.
what question did this useless reporter ask? did you hear the way the white guy rephrased the same question. Damn that journalist is a disgrace to Nigeria.
I honestly cant blame the ministers reaction to that question. The reporter was trying to be annoying. Any nigerian minister will be angered by this reporter and honestly i wil advice saharanews to get rid of this guy.
U MUST THE SAME AS THE REPORTER OR SOMTIN LIKE THAT...instead of asking a question or contributing to healthy debate, u result to insults. How will u get any credible reply. LOL! wat an uneducated mind!
Dont you all think this "respect" of a thing we Africans tend to exhibit is what is actually killing us...Imagine this mad man saying one is rude when asked a serious question! Who can save Naija now??? Beasts of No Nations!!!
Dont you all think this "respect" of a thing we Africans tend to exhibit is what is actually killing us...Imagine this mad man saying one is rude when asked a serious question! Who can save Naija now??? Beasts of No Nations!!!
Look at the big Nigerian! Roaches like him deserve no less than at least being put on the hot seat by comrade Sowore. The situation in Nigeria is so profoundly obscene and anti-human that it is a wonder why such vermin have not been swept off the planet by popular revolt long ago.I love this. Whenever these criminals come to places like NYC or London, Nigerians who tell it like it is should be out there to greet them, expose them, and make them very uncomfortable.Citizen's arrest would be ideal.
Sowore and my fellow comrades carry on with the struggle. Ojo Maduekwe is a curse to his ancestors and Igbo nation. He is a miserable man who will die without honour. A man who defended Abacha and other criminal govts. I wish he knew how a foreign shld act. Imagine this fool as one of the authors of the Nigerian constitution...We need a REVOLUTION AND SINCE HE COMES FROM MY STATE it will be a great honour for me to ELIMINATE Him by any chance FOR the sake suffering NIGERIANS. LETS Start Soon
This is to show how disorganized we are in Nigeria, journalist being aggressive to minister minister acting really uncivilized , losing his cool and insulting people.
Well this as always being nigeria govt official attitude, arrogant, proud, and poppous. Instead of them representing us but themself, he deserve what he get. This not nigeria but us.
The reporter's premise might have been wrong i.e if u go by Ojo's argument. Ojo's underlying argument is based on the fact that he is the foreign minister of Nigeria and not for the President, and on a second thought; how the hell does the reporter know that Ojo wasn't in communication with the president?
i think ojo deserve public disgrace like the one he got from sahara reporter, this is just a simple question that he cannot find an answer to. thank God the confrence is not held in nija the reporter would have find himself in bad situation why ojo madueke kill an go could have cruch him to death
The hubris of Nigeria's politicians and "big men" went on full display in an international setting - an environment ....where it is understood that elected officials work for the people... He should been extra- cautious as soon as he knew the reporter was a Nigerian perhaps but he got what he deserved.
"I am aware that there is heightened anxiety over the disposition of the President, however in his protracted absence due to illness the members of government along with vice president have agreed his activities because of a matter of National importance and utmost urgency. This could quell the reporter's reasonable anger and stymie the resulting situation.. contd
The minister should not have been in New York in the first place and not holding press conferences; he should have been working quietly in the background if he was interested in helping Nigeria when his boss' whereabouts were unknown whatever his motives, he held a press conference and was asked a legitimate question he could have simply come clean and said ..contd
I am not sure about about America but in the UK, a former deputy prime minister once traded blows with a protester. The people in government are heckled and asked tough questions all the time. I remember when Tony Blair was confronted at the entrance to a Hospital and was asked some tough questions by a lady (not a reporter, just a member of the public). He didnt know what to say, he was lost and was basically pleading with the woman.
Sowore, the man asking the question is not a trained reporter but an activist who was at the event because he is honestly interested in making Nigeria better (I doubt if his efforts can do much, the country has already gone to the dogs). He was almost killed by Abacha and I believe that was his reason for referencing Ojo's romance with Abacha.
when is nigeria turning into? i am seriously disappointed in Ojo... i wish there was another person that could answer a simple question as a mature diplomatic person, representing a country like Nigeria, irrespective of the rudness of the question.
i'm not a big fan of saharareporters but i have to agree with the journalist. and i see nothing wrong with the manner in which he asked the question. it's a perfectly good question from a concerned citizen to an official that is "representing" the nigerian people. i liked the way maduekwe's face looked when he realized for a split second that he was helpless until the other guy intervened. right now, lets hope a more qualified and a lesser evil makes it to the presidency fingers crossed.
The reporter absolutely rude and he is more of debater instead. Unfortunately Nigeria's way is funny. The minister has work todo if the President is sick that does not mean a country should collapse and all ministries sholud stop working. Each and everyone of us ia rep to nigeria and we are not controlled by sick or dying President. We need to get over old mentality instilled by military that the President must be present and give orders before we can do our work in assigned position.
This is to ALL OF YOU supporting Ojo Onikeke. You will all share in the pending misery that is awaiting this stupid OLD MAN. Did you hear the Reporter? "It's a matter of time". You people are supporting someone who admitted that he is on "AUTOPILOT"
I dont think this reporter can be blamed for being rude. As far as I'm concerned he was just being blunt. We need more people like him who are willing to directly attack and put these people to shame if not they will never learn. Merely listening to Madueke "attempting" to answer the question is very irritating. Totally unprepared!
The reporter was rightly rude. Within the parameters of his rude statements were facts, lets not forget that!! He was an Abacha boy who loves being in government for the perks, priviledges and outright feeling of importance!!! These recyled politicians that lack moral standing need to go. The youth have to speak up and take charge!!
Ojo is a stupid ma, and the whole entire leadership of Nigeria has gone mad and foolish.Nigeria is no long a Nation any more, is filled with parasite, all of the leaders there are all parasites, killing the beauty and the strenght in the then Nigerian when Nigeria was Nigeria because as it is no is no longer a country, the likes of obasanjo babagida aneni and many other with the present ones they have all destroyed the then country called Nigeria,
this man worked with abacha the same man who injucted acid on sowore (sh) my brothers , we are human beens. if it where you?ojo is my state man but he has disgraced the real ibgo people,if we are dieing today is because of people like ojo.
@Sereba, again perfectly worded: "there is no nigerian journalism...should be pure and simple". I respect your wisdom. I hope the reporter is reading these comments. If he wants to go far on global stage he needs to get some formal training and improve himself. But kudos to him for daring to take on those political maggots on behalf of the nigerian people.
If the president of Nigeria cannot grant NTA interview why would his minister answer to a Nigerian reporter. This is the country we call our country, I feel really sorry for those who are in power now because one day the bomb will blow(war) and then you thiefs will see the animal in the people you have always suspires.
If anyone knows that reporter tell him not to go to Nigeria for now so he dont get killed by that minister who should have resign by now.
I am suprised so many of you dont know anything anout Omoyele Sowore. He was a student union leader and was kidnapped and injected with strange substances by the Abacha government hence his reference that Ojo was a staunch supporter of Abacha. The man does not claim to be a career jornalist, he is just a citizen journalist doing his bit to rid that diseased country of parasites like Ojo. Ojo thought he was in Naija, looking for MOPOL to come and koboko Sowore
Understanding the frustration of the journalist, his question was badly worded. We all know the minister lack morality, but Sahara Reporter sure need a better anchor man than the faceless journalist. There are way to disgrace fellows like Ojo Madueke through subtle indirect questions. His statement that he has not spoken with 'his president' is enough to send him back to Nigeria.
The reporter has only exercised his profession by asking such question. The Minster is threatend by the question as it targeted his credibility as a supposed leader from subsequent governments which he can neither account for nor give any reasonable explanation for. His previous records of how questions have been posted to him in interviews, shows he has never answered one. Yar'adua should just fire him right away for insubordination.
@sereba, I totally agree with you in as much as I'm totally frustrated at the lackadaisical "leadership style" of our leaders in nigeria. The motive behind the question was right but the delivery was rather flawed. Ojo's reaction depicts how much nigerian leaders misunderstand and abuse their office. Because it is nigeria he would get away with calling this fellow "miserable". It is Pathetic!!!!
@backtomyroot - I could've used Donald Rumsfeld maybe. His advice for d war was corrupt and human lives are paying for it endlessly. How does that figure?
I presume the reporter had motives but was out-rightly unskilled failing to deliver d punch. The world is now globalized so u cannot isolate urself in africa. Theres no nigerian journalism - its got to be journalism pure and simple; else you'd be living in the dark ages. You've got to live it up.
I live in Nigeria and support what the Sahara reporter did. I believe the reporter did not want an answer from such a disgusting guy who have entrenched himself in every government, spending taxpayers money travelling all over the world at exorbitant cost to the government . These people should be heckled wherever they are in the world and they should be made to understand that pple knw their game. They should be frustrated from having a field day anywhere on earth.
Going through the interview i can't see where ojo was insulted in the initial question
the reporter just reminded him of his past where he has supported any government in power
if i could remember vividly, once upon a time within the past 8 yrs this same ojo went to the united states and insulted his kinsmen who said that an Igbo man should be president
the sahara reporter's question is most unfortunate and immature (highly prejudicial and out of line of professional ethos). It is rather a shame that the second person, a journalist I presume rephrased his questions in a decent and "professional manner". The Sahara Reporter's questions were actually insulting and harrassive. Such a shame that he could not see the difference.
You missed my point. No American would insult George W. Bush irrespective of the Iraq war. You can be polite yet incisive in questioning. Thats what journalists are professionally trained to do. Am sorry but you Nigerians aint managing your situation correctly. Gangster methods dont correct political errors. We learnt that in the confederation 100 yrs ago. Fix the holes in your constitution & then enforce it; else you'd be back full cycle another decade from now.
pls do not forget that george bush is not screwing the americans he is screwing the iraqics
When u talk of fixing the holes in the constitution, u should also remember that neither me nor u are going to be there. in fact the very ojo u are seeing on the screen was amongst the ppl that drafted the present 1999 constitution that is in use today
the only way forward is to wrestle the power from this ppl by speaking out loud and clearly, passive resistance or civil disobedince.
@Sereba.....Does that criminal in this video look like the President to you. The guy does not represent the President. He represents no one that's why he is being heckled..That guy is what they call a political prostitute...he has no creed he has no faith..He is the scum of the earth..That's why he is Being Heckled. I am appalled you even dare compare him with George W. Bush. Though I did not support the Iraq war I do love George W. Bush and would vote him into Office should he Run again.
The reporter was well out of order......We need constructive journalism and not malicious reporting...The guy came across like he's got beef...........Get professional mate!

"I am aware that there is heightened anxiety over the disposition of the President, however in his protracted absence due to illness the members of government along with vice president have agreed his activities because of a matter of National importance and utmost urgency. Newnamegiven 2 years ago
The minister should not have been in New York in the first place and not holding press conferences; he should have been working quietly in the background if he was interested in helping Nigeria when his boss' whereabouts were unknown whatever his motives, he held a press conference and was asked a legitimate question he could have simply come clean and said ..contd

I live in the US, an american brought the video to my attention.
Nigeria politicians always feel invincible, so maduekwe felt someone would have thrown the reporter out, he(maduekwe) needs anger management lessons.
The minister should have been more matured in answering the question because without criticism there is no development.
The sahara reporter had a stint with the Abacha goverment so he is indirectly directing his anger towards the minister who served during that period.

He didnt know what to say, he was lost and was basically pleading with the woman.
lombardo8 2 years ago
Sowore, the man asking the question is not a trained reporter but an activist who was at the event because he is honestly interested in making Nigeria better (I doubt if his efforts can do much, the country has already gone to the dogs). The minister has work todo if the President is sick that does not mean a country should collapse and all ministries sholud stop working.

Ojo thought he was in Naija, looking for MOPOL to come and koboko Sowore

the reporter was rude..period

The journalist posed valid questions; although badly worded, incoherent and at the end he was just babbling. Verdict: Unprefessional.

These are the kind of people that have Hijacked our great country. The storm is gathering and they are all going down.

Ole, thief, barawo. So you want to kill this reporter in Nigeria.

Logically, the problem is partly induced by the gerontological, monarchical, and self delusive elements in our ancient African traditions.
sad.

@Jydekris - Thank you. U got the point.

I suppose all the people who think the Sahara journalist did something wrong are those who live in Nigeria.
The nerve of this idiot leaders, they don't think they are accountable to anyone.

Such a shame that he could not see the difference.
sereba 2 years ago
@sereba
u should no that Nigerians telling their leaders to be accountable is like the second person who got a politic answer
we usually complain in the privacy of our bedrooms, in our cars, beerparlour over a plate of peppersoup, and at best pages on the internet.
We need to shame this leaders by speaking up clearly like the sahara reporter.
if u watch hardtalk where the anchor man there is direct, u would see that ojo was just moving his lips without saying any thing

@eze1ne
Fix the holes in your constitution & then enforce it; else you'd be back full cycle another decade from now.
sereba 2 years ago
@sereba
pls do not forget that george bush is not screwing the americans he is screwing the iraqics
