  • can you even get it off the ice ?

  • the little kid is a sniper!

  • @wwhhhman wrist shot you dont flick the puck in front of you snap shot you do! :-P

  • What's the difference between this and a wrist shot? Or are they the samething?

  • click 0:06 over and over

  • @dallastars09 ahahahah the dick is pulled slightly away from the puck

  • at 0:5 seconds thats a snipe

  • yeah the move down the middle and the snap is what catches many off guard. I dont see to many people who are good at this but it is worth developing and a lot of fun

  • we are watching the same dvd just in the defensive techniques.

  • This makes me wanna get on ice right NOW!!!

  • @ItsQuagmire1 Same with me!

  • was it just me or were those goalies way to far in their nets?

  • Is it just me who doesn't pull the puck back before i shoot, i just do the "snap" thing without loading.

  • @itsmefalconOo Yeah the whole point of the snapshot (in my opinion) is to release the puck quickly and take the goalie by surprise. You can't wind up like you would for a wrist or slap shot because it just tells the goalie what you're going to do, so to put some power into a snap shot you'll need either strong wrists, a pretty whippy stick or to be skating at full blast so that the momentum carries over into the shot.

Personally I use a 70 flex intermediate shaft which helps my snap shot a lot.

  • @itsmefalconOo i dont either lol.. i dont need to i get enough power to fool the goalie

  • Wellthis is no fucking good, where is the 'how to skate' video?

  • Is it just me or does these shots look like wrist shots jw

  • @struebs14

    just u

  • go watch my shooting video, im using the stick bauer x60

  • what is the point of doing a snap shot like that, you can take a slapshot in that amount of time

  • it throws the goalie off and if you are good enough you can do a quick shot like that through the defenders legs

  • i mean the way they take the snap sht its so slow they cant do it for shit

  • cus u can see a slapshot coming but not so much a snap thats y

  • @thomasfrellick Are you kidding me? Snap shots can be released the FASTEST! Maybe not the hardest. They can be as good as a wrister too with accuracy and speed with a faster more suprising release.

  • fuck i learnt this in peewee

  • guy at 1:25 heads down through the whole shot

  • This video really helped me a lot. I had no snap shot a few months ago, now it is pretty damn respectable. Thanks BR!

  • nice video, when i was playing bantam aa i hit the crrossbar from the red line.

  • nooooooooooooooo way.

  • yea buddy, it was just luck ;P

  • Brett Hull had a great snap shot. Cool video - thanks for posting.

  • the kid @ 1:10 is trying at taking the goalies head off :P

  • lol

    he is

  • Very good video. The most important part of the technique is to start out wide with the puck, then bring it in a bit before taking the actual shot. The motion itself is very easy once you get used to it.

  • I dont even do that unless im shooting through screens to keep it low, otherwise its

    about quick release

  • why don't u wrist shot?

  • cause its less powerful and takes longer to release than a snap shot

  • what i'm trying to say is that when ur between the hash marks y dont' u wrist it cuz i'm sure you have enuff power if u played for long

  • my snap shot would be released way faster, than if i took a wrist shot sure it would be hard enough but the goalie would have more time to read / react to my shot as apposed to my snap shot.

  • yeah dude. snappers all day.

  • it isnt always less powerfull, but it does take alot longer to release

  • on every youtube video everyone criticizes everybody who demonstrates how to take shots, there are some players that are going to better than others at taking certain shots but these kids demonstrated the right way to take them, its good enough

  • not the best shooters but good tips

  • what doesnt make them good?

  • first of all they scored like twice, plus theyre all benders

  • there like kids, jeez give em a break, there still atlest A-AA

  • if they r from canada they r deff not AAA

  • the one older kid is most likely

  • wtf your saying americans are better at hockey? HAHAHAHAHAHa fail.

  • no by saying if they r come canada they arent AAA that means that Canada is better dip shit.

  • theyre not benders you idiot do you evan know what a bender is?

  • ok i agree that they arent total benders, dont get period blood all over ur computer

  • LOL fail

  • what do u mean they are benders

  • 0:58!
