its funny how big of an impact things have when your just a kid; if i had played/watched this for the first time now i doubt i would have thought much of it... but playing this game as a kid literally shaped me into the person I am today. haha, this game made me love water; the way it feels, the way it smells... the way light dances within it... it just gives me a feeling of freedom and actualization. now that i think about it, playing FFX was probly the first time i felt this way. awesome game!

@vorabrx75 No they don't. I've found out this though: These creatures help with getting our offensive Overdrive modes. I got Slayer and Warrior, already here.

If you want to know another little great tip for an "easy-start"; Before facing Sin from Besaid -> Kilika, get Haste. When fighting Sin on the boat, don't kill Sin, but use Cheer enough so you can one-shot them, ofc use Haste at start on Wakka, Tidus and Khimari. But make sure every team member hit atleast one enemy.

@MasterFSK This way, you can just mash the X button while doing something else. This is if you want an easy start though, and have time to wait. I did this, got 99 S.LvL. Since I was tired of having to actually grind sometimes. Like when I want to play just because of the story.

@sweetouth20 ummm i played FFX a WHILE ago but i still remeber, ok im going to turn or my old PS2.... if it still works... ok it works, usualy i got khimary to learn his abilities then to learn auron´s wakka just to his abilities and follow lulu (lulu, i usualy use her randomly so dont pay atention to that step) tidus i like him to get to yunas cuz he has high mp in late game (but dont forget geting his abilities...) auron is like his abilities and other chars abilities,rikku just hers and tidus

@sweetouth20 If you want a more 'guided' sphere grid, use the Basic/Beginner Sphere Grid.

The difference is that the Expert/Advanced Sphere Grid makes it so that the majority of the Characters begin at the same place making it possible to, for example; make Wakka go down the mage route (Lulu's route) and learn Fire,Blizzard, Water, Thunder etc as oppose to his usual route which usually involves things like 'Sleep Attack/Buster, Dark Attack/Buster' etc.

I love how at the beginning of (almost every) game, the main character has a wonderful life, and it seems so perfect. Then, all of a sudden, some villain or evil thing comes in and takes away what they hold dear. And while everything is happening, the character is thinking, "WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON?!"

How to clean a ps2: take ps2 apart and using only a q-tip clean all dust off. becarefull to clean it, not smear it. If you cant take it apart, open the disc inserter nd use a q-tip to clean as far in there as you can. It works rele good. my ps2 is ten years old nd works perfectly.

hey subscribed to your channel, seems like you have as much of an interest in final fantasy as i do. just got one problem with the video game, in this video, at point 8:51, tidus is holding onto the bridge that just blew up; my game stops and does not switch over to the cgi scene with tidus yelling for auron. however, the water is still flowing in the background and i can see tidus blinking, but nothing happens. have you ever heard of this before? know anything that can help? thanks.

unfortunately i can relate to you..

it probably is your ps2 malfunctioning

in my case its old and gathered a lot of dust in it and thus does not play all the games as it should ( Some work, some dont... ffx is one that doesnt, while its the one i wanna play most of all :( )

anyway, the way to fix it is to clean your playstations inside.

or, if you're lucky its just your cd that has a scratch, in which case there are probably video rental stores near that can fix that for you

either of the following 3 options

- im misintrepreting you

- ur completely wrong, cuz you cant be stronger or weaker at this point

- u have a different version where the damage at the start is lower (seems unlikely and weird)

as for the sinspawn.. just beat some monsters and get some levels

You really do more damage than I, but for the sinspawn I've figured that the way I used the sphere grid was the problem. I've gotten way through it now and I'm about to fight yunalesca already, so maybe that weird option 3 has to be the right one, however, guess I'll manage, it's just weird, you know. if its a sinspawn later on in the game you jsut leveled less
