They wont, since Hinamori dies, by Hitsugayas hand no less, she just got impaled by him from behind in the story, thats what happens when you rush trying to kill AIzen rather than listening to Ichigos shouted warnings (Ichigo has never seen Aizens sword, so hes immune to Aizens illusion ability, which Hitsugaya is not immune to, hence he kills Hinamori when he thinks hes stabbed Aizen)

I guess that can be explained because Hitsugaya is younger than Renji, Rukia and Kira, all of whom are friends with Hinamori and Rukia's age is stated to be around 130 years, and that they all graduated a year before Hitsugaya at the Shinigami Academy.
