@storyclothfilms no tips really it just takes a while maybe 10-20 min to get it perfect for me, i used a 18-135mm lens and rode video mic on this video so it was very heavy, just went to homedepot and made sure i had enough counter weights.

The colour looks a little to vibrant on the muzzle flash did you colour grade before or after you put your effects in?

@stuey07 nah i just sucked with the effects overall, i shouldve box blurred them a little to match the footage and light reflection shouldn't have been so crappy, i made a lot of mistake that helped me learn a lot though. i did the colour grade after

Tell you what, I'D DEFINITELY runnin' a lot faster than that if someone was shootin' at me, and the pursuer was runnin' like you'd run in a FPS game..it's funny lookin'... overall tho, the movie is pretty sic for a short film and test run for you cam. The visual effects are on par as well..diggin' it..keep up the great work.

how did you manage to keep the mmc from swinging your camera left and right?

I have this hague and a 550d with a f1.8 prime lens and it swings like crazy!

@PrAnKsTaRRz it just takes awhile to get it steady, it takes me like 10 min to adjust it until its perfect, and i had my huge 18-135mm lens along with a rode mic which makes it way harder to steady. you just gotta mess with it alot and wind will screw it up too

the thing is your better to shoot those scenes without steadicam , the shaking adds to the tension and realism of the action, watch some hollywood scenes and you will see

When he killed him, the shot was out of focus and the muzzle flare seemed like it wasn't. I would add some sort of blur to it. But over all it was a pretty good test film :)

@spencerduhbarrett I just got a steady cam, but its a body rig. Makes everything seem a lot smoother and stable. I have worked on a couple things with it, but I havn't had the time to upload anything to my vlog channel (AidannMS).
