cool duplicator! My only thought would be to hook up a small vacuum hose to suck up the dust, instead of blowing the dust around - only to have to clean up later! :)
Excellent job on the duplicator ! Bit of advise if I can, put safety glasses on. That bit is going 20,000 rpm's and your eyes are 12 inches away. It's a horrible accident waiting to happen.
Ya know, you're not carryin around any extra pounds there, that's fer sure but.... I wouldn't actually say you were slim! Just a thought from a guy with nuttin better t'do than make dopey comments. Take off!
@quebecslim Hello Dear! How would the machine, plus shipping to Brazil, by USPS PRIORITY MAIL!? I await your answer! Note my email: (pedrolutti@hotmail.com) have real interest ...
love the video I make RC parts for helicopter, car and planes I really like the compact size of your carver do you have any written plans?ddreger@shaw.ca would like to hear from you thank you
Thanks for the vid. I am about to go make one based on a hybrid of both Kieth's machine and yours, AND a bit bigger that either too! You have a great sense of humour too my friend..
What if you had a piece of inlay, say a cloud shape or similar. How would you make the negative image for the stylus to follow? Could you maybe, offset the router bit to make the route slightly smaller than the outside edges of the actual inlay? I'm a total noob if you can't tell.
Nice duplicator/pantograph. On the split router and stylus supports, is one side glued (fixed) and the other side loose to allow movement to grab the router or stylus? What is the nut and knob bolt called?
OK looks great, how about if you raised it up 6 inches and put a bar across the front with clamps on it. You could clamp a blockof wood and a pattern on the other side and then turn the bar to make 3d items.

Great machine, turn it 90 degrees and you can cut a whole fretboard in one.
