not really, the v12 diesel is a monster and even this 3.0 model is far better than the petrol one, the torque is just amazing and you will save a hell of a lot of money. I own a 3.0 tdi q7 and a 2.0t a4 and really I spend a lot less money on gass on the q7 even when it is a large suv

i drive a q7 and no problems what so ever never have to take in to dealer other than regular maintenance. No better car than audi for me thats for sure :) x5 and ml series are built in us and are shit quality especially if you check all the reviews the new ones got better a bit but you can never compare a german car built/assembled in germany and german car built/assembled in us. Don't settle for nothing but pure german whtever u're getting bmw or benz.

no offense but Q7,touraeg cayenne are essembled in bratislava, i dont think it does mather where german cars are made, most of them arent even really assembled near germany because of costs etc. but Q7 is an amazing car!! have fun with it

I heard there is alot of eletrical problems with Audies just like the Vws ( I owned a Golf and a Passat and they are crap on reliability ) over heating...tail lights work whenever they feel like to..and transmission is a nightmare . not mentioning the costs of parts and labour . I Rather Drive a Jap Car Honda or Toyota.. maybe they are boring looking but those damn things can go for ever .

for the sake of argument, i have a '07 honda civic and '07 merc g55 and from my experience with both cars i find that even with extensive use - long drives, hauling heavy loads and forging rough roads, the g55 gives me less grief when it comes to maintainance. unlike the honda which i use around the city, with in a year of owning that car i'd had to replace the headers, the muffler, the passenger side door(malfunction with the power window) and let me tell you, those are NOT cheap...
