Just thought I'd add an update 9 months after posting my original comment. The strings still sound like new all this time later. I am gobsmacked. Just so you know I have no commercial interests in promoting these strings.
I've been using these strings for about two years now and they are good. Whoever thinks these strings ain't good probably bought them because they suck at playing the guitar and thought these strings would make them better! These strings are good though.
thos strings suk i dont recomend them they are big and and they hit the first fret makin a vibration sound they suck i paid like almost 20 dollars on them and i hate them sorrt to the ppl tht like them but i dont
@preachingconch Rust???? What the hell are you doing, playing in the rain? It's just dirt, grime, and dead skin from your fingers. Just grab a damp cloth and clean them.....
I'm in the process of trying strings, at the moment I have Dean Markley's and D'Addario's (both 80/20 and P/B) lying around, but my guitar came with Elixir Nanowebs so I have a feeling that I will be coming back to those.
I'm a big fan of the Elixir Nanowebs.. I have some DR Sunbeams coming in, and if for whatever reason I don't like them.. I'll go back to my Nanowebs. I really don't like the Polywebs though, especially on midrange/bass heavy guitars.. they just sound dull in comparison. I still haven't made up my mind about the 80/20's vs the Phosphor Bronzes...
I've bought this strings.. but I have a question about the nano coating.... well its some sort of nano particles, and I think they can easiliy penetrate through the skin isn't it?? so I'm concerned to use the stings
@robybooy I've been playing with nanowebs for two years now and I can assure you that nothing is going to come off the strings and go into your skin. My fingers are just fine. Nanowebs are perfectly safe so put those babys on there and rock n' roll!
Hi, I use Elixir Nano's on ym electric guitar, I'm not dead yet. Not even my friend Lucas that uses them is dead yet, I'll update the info when some of us dies. Howgh!
the strings cost 50% more and last 250% longer than other strings, you save money in the long run

@partyppl1313 Excuse me Sir, but you're retarded.
That's your GUITARS problem. Not the strings, these are extremely high quality strings.

packaging for elixir strings makes them look like a box of condomns

Just saved my Simon and Patrick from being traded in. A much improved sound. Thanks for the advice.

Want better bottom end? This is a good way, but there is another way, that I trust very much and that i use if i need to make my guitar louder.
Loosen your truss rod: put the action up- strings vibrate better and you CAN hear it, especially on the bass side
