tutorial on how to add characters to MUA's heroselect

by the way i didnt replace anything becuz of 2 reasons

1) i once did replace everything and the game didnt work anymore

2) i dont see the point becuz if i backup them ill still have to replace and game still wont work, so i have to replace the download character replacer files with the backup files

@mryouallrock i never encountered this before make sure all of the herostats are in the right order and that all files are in the correct place

@DLSbulletmagnet and yeah i entered herostat entries, names, everythin in herostat. i also pasted the heroselect in Marvel - Ultimate Alliance folder. nothin!

i downloaded this, i selected dr doom, nightcrawler and others not playable. but when i start a new game it just gives me as new characters hawkeye, hulk, moon knight and captain marvel. it doesnt give venom, nightcrawler, sabretooth, dr doom etc.

@outo1235 this is the most basic guide i could create and it makes it much simpler since you got a visual. Its not an easy concept if your not good with computers it took me mayb 2 weeks to learn(but i learned from text only) and im good with computers. Im sorry but this cant really be made any simpler and it does go step by step.

um? so the other nine characters in the offical mod are ready for playing you dont need to change the something in herostat right? you just use heroselect to choose your roster right?

if you got the offical character mod w/ heroselect it should all be set to where their herostats are already in herostat.cfg
