This program is entertaining, but has a lot of factual errors. Mohenjo-Daro absolutely does NOT have higher than usual radiation, and bodies were not laying as if all had died at the same time. The city has several levels, and most of the bones found were in graves. Also, Hindu scholars have stated publicly that the Mahabarata does not talk about nuclear weaponry, and that the Vimana are not flying craft but in fact chariots with a blow torch type weapon. (although it may have had gears)

And my further understanding is that, despite what Giorgio Tsoukalos says (28.20), the consensus in the scientific communities at the period, and even prior to the middle ages (even the Greeks centuries before Christ), was that the earth was globular and NOT flat. This program is entertaining, but has a lot of factual errors. Mohenjo-Daro absolutely does NOT have higher than usual radiation, and bodies were not laying as if all had died at the same time. The city has several levels, and most of the bones found were in graves. Also, Hindu scholars have stated publicly that the Mahabarata does not talk about nuclear weaponry, and that the Vimana are not flying craft but in fact chariots with a blow torch type weapon. (although it may have had gears)

@MrFreako2010 You're absolutely right. You've probably seen those old US Army films where atomic blasts destroy buildings? Well, at Mohenjo-Daro the original - BRICK - walls were found still intact. I don't know of any atomic bombs that can wipe out a city but leave the brick walls intact :o) It's really a shame that the people in this series dismiss the view that ancient humans were intelligent. I don't believe in aliens, but I do believe that ancient man had knowledge subsequently lost.

I would bet that there were many other things recorded (now forever lost) such as ways to soften rock so that it could be shaped like clay, advanced pulley systems for lifting heavy items, plus mechanical tools. Just look at the Antikythera mechanism, 150 BC!

All the old stories like mahabharata, ramayana and some of the more modern legends like those Sant Tukaram speak of the "Pushpak" Vimaana which is the chariot of Lord VIshnu being capable of flight, 1 story says that Lord Vishnu sent the Pushpak to fly Tukaram to Vaikunth( a level of heaven)

The Korean Institute of Creation made a physics model that proved an ark of such size could carry all the species (including extinct) with room to spare, even if made of pine. I also did my own calculation. It only would have sunk 3 feet into the water and would not have tipped. The ark should have been 450 feet long because there were different lengths of cubits.

Even though there was disagreement about the location of the earth within the galaxy (geocentrism v heliocentrism).

This is an interesting doco. And I appreciate the non-condescending attitude towards ‘mainstream’ science and religious texts. However, this documentary is misleading in a lot of areas.
For a short time a while ago I too started believing that these beautiful art works (27.20) seemed to show UFOs, even though I didnt get why only these artists were in the know about these alien beings!
