More people in the world have been killed in the name of God than have been saved by him. We used to have "moving statues" in Ireland until the idiots found out there was no money to be made out of it.
Is it just me, or does Nadine Dorries think we are all utterly stupid? Of course everything she says and does about abortion, etc is informed and directed by her faith! She is so transparent I can't believe she actually gets away with this crap on national TV.
@paranoidgoldfish Nadine Dories - admitteted that her website was %70 fiction and is an embarrasment to the Conservative party. Don't place your morality into a health debate.
@losarman I don't think that he should keep "his nose out of it" because the Archbishop crowns the Monarch and indeed sits in the House of Lords but if he would prefer to debate then he should be ready for rebukes, disapproval and indeed outright dismissal of his views.
@MrGilles1990 New Labour were trying to destroy Christianity? When did that happen? Were they raising churches to the ground? Did they set wild dogs on the vicars?
@MrGilles1990 As far as I am aware the Queen is still head of state, the Church of England is still the official state religion, bishops of the Church of England still sit in the House of Lords, Radio 4 still broadcasts The Daily Service. Seems pretty solid to me.
Perhaps you can furnish me with an example of the Labour Party introducing policy to specificly 'destroy' the Church (and not one that's simply for (example) equality legislation)

Ben Bradshaw’s record:
Voted for the illegal Iraq war.
Then helped to cover up Blair’s crimes by voting against any investigation into the illegal Iraq war.
Voted for ID cards and the Big Brother database.
Voted for all other of Labour’s totalitarian police-state laws.

And on expenses:
Claimed for the entire mortgage payments on his second home even though he owned only half of the home.

@davidheffron are seriously that stupid?
They used law, government policy and scapegoats to destroy Christianity.
Political massacre, not a physical one.
