I love that the Knicks are doing bad. Just goes to show that superstar pairings don't always work out for the best. Denver has no franchise player but they're an incredibly deep team now thanks to that trade. They have so many people that can hurt you in different ways. All New York has is Melo and Stat. Can't win a game with two people.

@jason60152 Well at the time I posted that comment Jeremy Lin was still a nobody. Now they have help. I forgot about Baron coming back too. They need to get rid of Carmelo and get some team players and the Knicks will be a great team. Jeremy Lin just came out of nowhere and now my opinion of the Knicks is different lol.

@jason60152 Hahaha no they don't. The Knicks haven't gotten any better since the trade. The only reason they're winning right now is because Jeremy Lin. He's one of the leading non-point guards in the league for turnovers behind Dwight Howard and LeBron James. He's not enough of a team player to take them all the way. If he can't learn to play for the Knicks and stop trying to make the team the New York Carmelo Anthony's then they will do great. He's only in it for himself.

@Itv2192 i agree, but even melo said at one point "come get me now (as in before the trade deadline) or most likely you won't get me at all." So in the end it was the right decision

@newyorkfan1616 honestly i would've never gone for him then. the knicks should've let chandler grow some more, cause he's an all-star, and gallo is an all-star, so is/was felton. trade three all-stars for one superstar doesn't make sense to me :(

Those 3 are great players, all top 100 players in the game right now (including chandler even though he's in China or wherever he's at right now) but you gotta understand denver did well from the trade because they still had a lot of great players around those 3 guys. knicks during that stretch had like almost no one around melo, amare, and billups

@jonvegard31 and when you have an opportunity to get a top 10 player in the game and he's guaranteed to sign with your team you do what you have to do. Now the knicks got a lot of depth now and they'll be just fine. They have the pieces, the beginning of this year had no point guard which was key. So when everyone's healthy they got Lin, J.R. Smith, Baron Davis, Fields, Iman S, Jeffries, Amare, Melo, Chandler, Josh H, Walker and even Steve Novak. Thats better than before the trade last year

If he does get traded it would be a stupid move for the knicks because they are giving up all that talent, they can just get him in the offseason.

The description makes it sound like you are saying good bye to your pc player. Am I wrong to assume if he gets traded you won't be collecting him anymore?  Even Jordan played for other teams lady lo. I stuck by rodman while he wormed around the league.
