@NailStrafer In Quest mode...I completed Nagoya and Osaka...but when I get to Tokyo...it won't let me choose a route, and it won't let me back out to the garage again. I can however play Tokyo in time trial mode.

It's like the equivalent of getting the Blue Screen of Death...I can't advance beyond that point...forcing me to reset my system. My game disc is in great shape. It could be my PS2 has finally succumbed to old age.

Has this ever happen to you before in any of your Quest Runs in TXR3?

@NewTehTrance It's called editing. I probably played for about 10-15 hours total, which I cut down to a little over 3 hours (20 parts, about 10 minutes each, so 200 minutes). You're only seeing the interesting/noteworthy/excitin­g parts while everything else was thrown out.

@irwintorres727 Your car can still cruise on its own, but the game no longer racks up the odometer while doing this. You have to take advantage of a glitch to get around that. I explain how in the next video, I believe.

@Yengetto I disagree. TXR3 feels a lot more polished than Zero did, plus there's lots more content. The main edge Zero has over 3 is that you can power up your cars a lot higher, plus you can actually finish the North American version without a cheat device.

@STI41PR Wrong. If you want to get 100% completion in the NA version, you need a cheat device. One of the wanderers (Whirlwind Fanfare) requires you to have a greater amount of cash in the bank than the game will allow you to have in the NA version. So if you don't have a cheat device, you can't get enough cash to race him.

Sorry, but definitely no. TXR3 has taken me over a year to tape, and I pretty much had to push aside all my other video projects to work on it. It made me actively start to hate TXR3, even though it's one of my most beloved racing games.

NailStrafer, did you ever encounter the freeze-up glitch during I think it was...two big Racing groups. One of them was Freeway I believe. After the cutscene, the audio would continuously repeat and video would freeze (and if it had been a while that you saved...well there went all your progress). Also...did you use a Gameshark/Pro Action Replay to beat the true final boss?

Yes, that glitch happened for me when I got to the Speed Master team. If you press start to skip the FMV though it doesn't happen.

The vid explains everything pretty much. Defeat all members of a team to race its leader. Defeat all team leaders to race the area's boss. Defeat all the bosses to win the game.

Then defeat all wanderers plus all teams and bosses to race the final boss and win the game.

LOLZ,I have a Supra and a Viper, and I win races in order to get better parts for my Viper, but those engine upgrades for the Viper are VERY expensive! e.g: 56,000 credits for upgrade 1. XD

this game has some flaws such as how you are supposed to race some wanderers. you can't just challenge them. i don't get why this game has to be such a puzzle in which you have to asks others what you should do to race someone.

The wanderers are purely optional though...besides there's a handy guide on GameFAQs that tells you how to race all of them.

And many of them you can find clues from their profile on what you need to do.

Some wanders are picky when it comes to challenging them, some have you put some stickers on your cat to race them. one guy made me put a cat sticker on my car before he let me race him. some only race for wheel drive cars only. You will have to read the rivals list to get clues on there habits.

The best way I know of would be to challenge a wanderer on the Wangan who races you after your car gets 1000 km on the odometer. He drives a C5 corvette. You can put a spoiler on that car, but you can't customize the body or anything else. You can't customize anything on the C4 Corvette, so far as I know.
