You don't see an Indian national or Mexican, unhappy with anything in his or her own country go seek assistance from another country to attack his own country. Its like asking your neighbour to attack your parents just because you don't fully agree with them. That's the problem with you Zang ethnic minority (Tibetan) of Xizang, China. Whatever grievances you have with your motherland, China, the doors to peaceful discussions has always been open to your leaders.
"I can see, though, that this has not happened to you. You have guarded the purity of your hearts and through kindness continue to press on. Further hardships will only serve to make you more respected. I think that we, the Japanese, have learned many things from your presence. I look forward to our friendship together. Thank you very much."
"I believe you have been living with a great hardship. I am overwhelmed by all gathered here today who have guarded the purity of your hearts. This is a very difficult thing to do. When people experience hardships, feelings like hate and frustration change them and their hearts become hardened. It can be seen in their faces and even in what they hope for.
Why doesn't Japanese fuckin' media broadcast such kind of GREAT video!? Hey, people all over the world! Please trust that Japanese wish for TIBET FREE sincerely!! FREE TIBET!! ZENKOUJI TEMPLE SHOWS OUR PRIDE!!
We are deeply impressed by Tibetans who have very clear minds even though they have many troubles (with China).
When people are in trouble like this, hatred and vexation would make their mind impure, and then they get furious looks and their wishes (desires) change.
However, Tibetans are making efforts (to change the situation) with clear and gentle minds. That is very difficult thing to do.
"There were a lot of terrible incidents that happened in Japan the last several decades, but people have been looking for important things with scars.
(Because people know the pain) Tibetans' efforts have been understood.
Victims' lives are precious.
Today's service will be for both Tibetan and Chinese victims. All the victims aren't the target of hatred."
(continuance)I think it is pretty precious hardship. We Japanese learn a lot things from your behaviour. We will tresure this relationship between us and you surely.I hope to see more of you.
Although you have endured, you have a noble mind and you overcome so far. I think it is very difficult. If one have a hard time, one tends to be flustrated, hate someone,be turned to other mind from beginning, have a evil thought, change one's face and forget primary preyer. However, you are never so.You still have a honorable and gentle mind and you effort much.

At torch relay starting time, Zenkoji temple held a mass for casualty of Tibet insurrection. for Tibetan and also Chinese(Han people).
I want to promulgate this action of Zenkoji.
At the torch relay, some Japanese action,
it was an anti-China action under the guise of Tibet freedom.
I think it was not good support for Tibetan.
It was just raising hell.
I believe Tibetan hope to do peaceful demonstrations.
It agrees in their faith.
A mass in Zenkoji accorded with their faith, I thank.

The Japanese people have learned a lot of things from seeing your efforts.
This is our karma (to get to know you and support you).
and the tibetan said;
"Your (Zenkoji Temple) very kind support has changed the Japanese public opinion. I feel that we are going forward to solve the problems. Thank you."

Please translate for an EU supporter.

-this is abstract-
It is really admirable you are still innocent.
The oppressed tend to get negative, and to show ugly face.
But you don't.
It seems that we Japanese learn a lot of morals from your behavior.
As you know, today we hold a memorial service for Tibetan and Chinese victims...

The torch relay began at the time of Zenkouji.
その時、出発地を辞退した善光寺の本堂では追悼法要が行われていた。
At that time, people were doing the mournful buddhist ceremony in Zenkoji Temple where the place of departure had been declined.
チベットでの抗議活動の中で、命を落としたチベット人と中国人の方々を共に追悼し、チベットに平和が訪れるように祈りが捧げられた。
They mourned for the Tibet people and Chinese who had died of the protest activity in Tibet. And they prayed that Tibet became peaceful.
ここで力尽きた。ろくに英語を勉強してなかったのが悔やまれるな。つーか、追悼法要はthe mournful buddhist ceremonyでいいのか?
