  • dude how the hell you are running the cpu at 4.0 ghz only on cpu 1.2 volt

  • Bull shit 1.2 v that is special FX's

  • Not stable at all, maybe for about 3 to 4 hours but not 24 hours

  • I know doing something on youre own is fun, but why dont you guys just buy a Core i5 2500 ? O.o

  • That is one creepy ass song, bro...

  • I overclocked my Intel Core i5 750 to 3,7 GHZ at 1,25V.

I believe it's running stable, had it running for about a week now with these settings, and I'm playing 24/7 basically.

    " Arma 2, GTA 4, WoW, Battlefield Bad Company 2 "

Runs very fine, I know people say DO PRIME 95 etc.. What for? I'll never stress my CPU that much anyways.

  • @ThePunkfisk run OCCT (1 hour test) and you should do prime 95 for like 12 hours or so just to test whether or not it will always run stable

  • looooooooooooooooooooooooooool.

  • You can not overclock with Cpu Voltage 1.20 . You need more than 1.40 !

  • @StefanTrifunovic bull Sh@t 1.20 voltage this dude is a noob overclocker

  • I have a this exact CPU, and I wanna overlock it, like nothing crazy, just a bit higher. I've never done any overclocking before though, so I was wondering, what do I need to overlock? I have a 550W PSU, but it's also powering a GTX 460, so there's not a TON of extra room there as I understand it. My motherboard is an Asus P7H55-M LX, I don't even know if you can overclock with that.. :/

Any advice would be great! Thanks! :D

  • im doing the same settings as you with an i5-760 and a zalman cpu cooler but it just keeps saying that it failed overclocking :/ IDK what im doing wrong?

  • @bryanhaakman

    Hi.

I have a good cpu that runs at a low napryazhenii.News CPU now not so dispersed, and require a large increase in voltage.

  • Music: Theme for the resident evil movie. composed by Marilyn Manson

  • What song is this? :P

  • I put my i5 750 to 4.1 ghz with intel stock cooler.

  • @kevingong let me guess... ur CPU is overheating(above 72.7C) and it's fcking unstable... isnt it?¿

  • Why 3.0 ghz with stock cooler??

  • can you put it to 3.0 ghz with stock cooler?

  • your QPI is waaay to high

  • You need a water cooler

  • my room temp is 40 to 44 c and waht is cooling i need to do this kind of stuf ?

  • @idadyal You need a water cooler!

  • @idadyal

    ok

  • @idadyal Liquid cooling. and get a really huge radiator

  • @idadyal invest in an AC

  • THE MUSIC!

    Merlin Manson - Resident Evil.mp3

    Where is it from?

    Search Google

  • THE MUSIC!

    Where is it from?

    I remember it,

    3 possibilities:

    -NewGrounds

    -Resident Evil

    -Black Mesa Source

  • Water system.

  • lol i got exactly the same stuff but i don't overclock it......

  • lol i got The Asus P7P55D, Core i5 750, 4GB DDR3, lot's of fans (4 at the sides of the case and 2 inside the case) which looks very much like yours :P.

  • if only my old cpu had broken a few days later (last summer), now I'd have an i5 too!! And I'd have overclocked it. Now I own a Q9550 @3,57GHz with a Zalman cnps9700 and temperature is good at 1,275V (32°C or 89°F)

  • how can i overclock a i5 processor 2.67Ghz with a DP55WB motherboard

  • Link on Prime95 x64 in the video file.

  • Extreme lol!

I O.C My i5-750 on P7P55D EVO to only 3.6GHz [:P Tat was less] BCLK Frequency was set to 180Mhz

Run Prime95 with CM V8 Highest temp 59 degrees

  • only 1.2v ... i highly doubt that would pass 1 hour of prime95

  • i have a p55 asus p7p with a gtx 260 oc core 216, 8 gb ram ocz corsair @ 1600mhz....and a i5...!!

someone can tell me a guide step by step for a safe overclock with stock cooler for my rig??Around at 3.5 ghz is possible??thanx in advance;)

  • First off you....DON'T OVERCLOCK WITH STOCK COOLER. espeshaly not that high unless you want to fry your cpu and posibly the motherboard too. I am sorry but if you want to OC then you are going to have to spend a little money on a 3rd party cooler. The stock is not ment for any kind of overclocking. As for guides just google "core i5 overclocking giude." Take it slow and bump up the voltage VERY slowly. Good luck.

  • i have overclock my cpu with stock cooler and good temps juste need to search for the right voltage/Ghz

3.4 with stock voltage and stock cooler is easy to have with save temps

  • 3.4 with stock cooler and stock voltages 1.26v is realy easy and good temp and if you want to go further you will need good airflow on the case or change the stock cooler for better :)

  • **cough** BS...

Funny how you don't show any priming or stability tests for your OC. Or the fact that you don't even attempt to boot into windows. Hmmm... I wonder why??

  • johnnyw2405

I have water cooling and the CPU is good. In the evening after work, lay out the screen shot prime95 x64 and Linpack 64.

    paultje162

song name Marilyn Manson - theme for the resident evil movie.

  • You have a really lucky chip bro.

mine needs 1.4V for that but i dont overclock it.

And wht is the song name?

  • main theme for the resident evil movie. composed by Marilyn Manson.

  • I highly doubt its stable with that low voltages. Have you stress tested those settings at all? Most guys with i5 750 me included need to push vcore to 1.35-1.4v and imc around 1.3v to achieve satble 200mhz blck. I can boot to windows with similar voltages than you have, but prime95 or any stress test programs gives errors almost immideatly after i lauch it.

  • Can a V8 stands this heat on the overclocking? [Im using P7P55D EVO, Corsair Dominator 4GB Dual Channel DDR3 1600MHz, Sapphire HD5870....]

  • MrDvoinoy

    Плз напиши полную конфигурацию системы.

  • i got the same board and cpu, going to copy your settings to the 'T', this will be my first overclock :/
