No, ella no es la que canta, de hecho en la pelicula, las canciones de la vida temprena de edith estan versionadas por una cantante francesa llamada jill agroit, pues no existen grabaciones de piaf cantando en las calles.. y las otras canciones si son grabadas por piaf, pero con algunas ediciones de sonidos, para minimizar los ruidos de las grabaciones de la epoca
