friend to friend. Clarence Sherman, Eric Stillings, Nathan Henry, Romero, Gregory Sherman, Walter Williams, Rodney Williams, The Great Cleveland Poole.luv U guys. Thanks Miss Ross. Tampa , Palmetto, Bradenton and Sarasota Florida.
I love this entire cd...Miss Ross proves time and time again that she is an American and International Treasure with the Supremes and as a solo artist. She beautifully excutes and projects her vocals without all the riffs and runs that todays artist do...she never over sings and gives you just enough range to reach the climatic energy needed.
this is what I love about hiphop...you find an old school joint that you love from a hiphop joint...thanks Primo! And then my brother told me that Lupe had this sample on his first joint...wow
This is a beautifully done. I love every song on this CD and I do all. This was an album that she didn't hold anything back. Edwards and Rogers produced and wrote a masterpiece with the UPSIDE DOWN LP. Her voice was perfect on this.
This beautiful R&B song is one that I've spent countless hours listening to and reflecting, it's so peaceful and soothing, her voice just blends perfectly with the musical arrangements of the "CHIC Organization", this is certainly premium 80's music, no question about it!!
I love the "diana" album and this song should have been released as a single, rather than "My Old Piano". Either this song or "Now That You're Gone" would have been good singles.
Thanks for sharing this on youtube. It is an absolutely fabulous recording. Ross is one of the most under rated artists of our time. To think this woman has not won a Grammy is a pox on the Grammys,
oh yea, one more thing...i've heard alot of Diana Ross's songs and out of all i've heard, this one is my favorite right here and this is my 1st time hearing it..i haven't heard something so smooth in along ass time....im 23 witta old soul, thanks to my mom..
I really hope more people get to hear this beautiful piece from the Upside Down CD. It is really magnificent in its simplicity. And I think that is the magic of Ms. Ross. Her voice is has an authenticity that is genuine and simple. She doesn't oversing. She is not the stereotype big voice. You hear and feel every word and I think that's why she has had so many fans for so many years. To the eternal love hangover, thank you for putting this on Youtube.
Truly one of Diana's greatest ballads, this song displays her beautiful natural tone and vocal talent

props to me for originally finding out first this was sampled on "sunshine" @ the-breaks back in 2007.
the only way you can notice this sample was because i tried to flipp it myself and chopped up the notes into little pieces.
the sampled part btw is @ 2:05 (three guitar/bass stabs)
