I'm crying lol. I hated that they didn't give Marissa at least 1 minute in this episode! She was a very important part on the show and Ryan's life. but well :[ BEST SERIE EVER!
This show shouldn't have ended. I mean the ending was great...i love how they compare everything with how it used to be when it all started. But this show could've gone on...i don't understand how series like gossip girl are going on until season 5 and a show like the o.c was cancelled in mid season 4.
Hi, why did the character of Mischa Burton died, does anybody know? I think everyone was socked with that, it was a good move. I never saw tv series util this one, wich I think it´s impecable. I Wish it would lasted more years...
The OC was probably one of the best shows there ever was. They ruined it by killing Marissa. I think it would have been better if she was alive. I loved her character. She was one that a lot of people could relate too. He and Ryan were the ideal couple. He was a trouble guy and she was a troubled girl. I can't believe it's been eight years now since this show started! I can't believe they don't live in that house anymore. But I do have to say, this was one of the sweetest endings to a show I've seen. I got into this sadly long after it's run and I wish I was a teen then because I'd definitely watch it then. But still grateful that I took the chance to watch it now.

Commenting is a form of closure, I watched this series not completely. Although I sort of liked how the story goes, it still has to end. I hope that with this closure and how OC ends, things would turn out fine. "Oak-hey", (An expression that I picked up from this series.)

This made me cry. The OC really was the best teen drama. It was emotional, I actually believed the characters, and it was funny and so witty, and didn't take itself too seriously. All the teen shows now make me roll my eyes at the bad acting and bad writing.
This show breaks my heart. I still can't get over them killing off Marissa. I suppose I manage because I know no matter what the dumb-arse writers did, Marissa and Ryan belong together and in my head they do end up together, just like they should. But for Marissa to die in the show and Ryan and Marissa to not end up together in the show breaks me. My heart literally aches.

It seriously HURTS to even think about Marissa... it's kind of pathetic how much I came to care for her character, and Ryan&Marissa as a couple. One flashback from Ryan (which didn't even feel like a flashback from him, more like it was randomly put in there) and that's it?! :'(
@lovesmasochist I guess, but like after those few episodes at the begging of s4, they didn't mention her much, and after the 7th episode didn't mention her AT ALL. They all got over her death so quickly and just went back to living like nothing happened. I mean, it hadn't even been a year since Marissa died, and Ryan was already head over heels for Taylor! It didn't make sense. So I guess that made it seem like they forgot about her, and more mentions of her in the finale were kind of necessary.

Well, not 10 years later, I mean even with the epilogue/flashforward they had, with summer's wedding and all that - they should have shown them at Marissa's grave. the last scene, or one of the last scenes should have been Summer, Seth, and Ryan at Marissa's grave together, so it would be like the core four together again :)

Summer and Seth finally have there own life together as a married couple and Julie and Kaitlin have a settled Family.and julie has her own degree, and she can finally have a real job and doesnt have to depend on any one else's money to live off cuz she can make her own money now :) and Ryan and Taylor can have there own life

I found it, when watching this and the part with Ryan's flashbacks that I was soo surprised to see how much the characters had aged! Because it had happened gradually over the seasons, the beginning compared with the end was very different.

Marissa was wayyyy too depressing for Ryan. He had enough crap for the first 16 years of his life, Marissa just complicated things and got him into a lot of trouble. Taylor was perfect, crazy, happy and up-beat... It's what Ryan needed.

So.... I've never really gotten into the OC but after watching this (and the other clips I've seen) I really want to get into it. this are the same lines that Sandy Cohen said to Rayn in the pilot episode of the o.c. when Ryan was sitting next to his bike in poor conditions, just like the kid at the end of this clip. It's like Ryan saving himself here.
this sounds really pathetic, but this show meant so much to me. it had a massive impact on my teen years, and when i look back at high school, i kind of grew up with ryan, seth, marissa and summer. i was so emotional when it finished! omgod, im even crying now just watching this. cheers for posting lolz.

Marissa was wayyyy too depressing for Ryan. He had enough crap for the first 16 years of his life, Marissa just complicated things and got him into a lot of trouble. Taylor was perfect, crazy, happy and up-beat... It's what Ryan needed.

So.... I've never really gotten into the OC but after watching this (and the other clips I've seen) I really want to get into it. I know, I kinda ruined it for myself cos I just saw the ending but I really really want to see all the episodes that lead up to this... It seems like a great show and it's so intense! And what's even better is my boyfriend wants to watch it too! =D

this are the same lines that Sandy Cohen said to Rayn in the pilot episode of the o.c. when Ryan was sitting next to his bike in poor conditions, just like the kid at the end of this clip. It's like Ryan saving himself here.

this sounds really pathetic, but this show meant so much to me. it had a massive impact on my teen years, and when i look back at high school, i kind of grew up with ryan, seth, marissa and summer. i was so emotional when it finished! omgod, im even crying now just watching this. cheers for posting lolz.

i loved the o.c sooo much and i wish they hadn't cut it although the 4rd season wasn't as good as the other 3..in my opinion if they hadn't killed marissa the show could be still on:) ...
for me the best season was the 3rd and one of the main reasons was volchok<33

I agree... the 4th season it's a little bit strange because there is not a real story to tell with Marissa gone.. and I don't really like to choice to put Ryan and Taylor together, he was meant for Marissa.

I remember the first time I saw this clip I cried as ryan walked through the house, but this time it was realising that marissa didn't get to see any of that stuff like Seth and summer getting married or julie graduating. The OC is awesome! I still can't believe they cut it!
