All bickering aside; I hope to watch any other updates from Zena Noah Iese. You have alot of fans here in Seattle Washington.
Teine o le Leona; Teine o le Fa'asaulala, ma le Teine Samoa Moni e le fa'amailoga tagata. Tala o le i si toeaina "o le ulupo'o a o le ulupo'o". "O le Samoa a o le Samoa."
Think before you speak were not slave to America if that so N.Z and Australia should be slave to British they under British .America T.V runs all over the world so don't go there! There's a lot of W.Samoa live in Am.Samoa nowadays and our culture is strong, too. That's the problem with you guys always try to compare.I was born in USA free as a bird.MANATUA LAU AGANUU.GOD BLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You guys still slaves to America, SAMOA hasnt lost culture its one of the strongest cultures still growing strong. N.Z and Australia have the highest population of Samoans outside Samoa and within those communites the culture is strong. Too many American tv for American Samoa. FAA SAMOA !!!
Hey that was mr henry hans my high school teacher frm leone & when I went to midkiff but the mssg of independence he says is what we should MAINLY FOCUS on telling our kids is wrong it should be to "remember who you are & where you came from because it will help you get to where you are going!" As children born & raised in L.A we've never been to samoa until '97 it was a MAJOR culture shock & a much needed one indeed!!
i like your videos i wish i could come up there shoot you should keep making your videos because down here where im from some samoan kids just lost their respect for their culture im samoan too i just wish some kids down here werent as americanized to where they for get about their culture but nice videos keep up the good work
Malo uso seki a lou video man. i think the govenrments of both samoa need to come up with something that will help maintain faa samoa on both samoas cause the young ones a beeing heavily affetcted by the american way of life from from upolu to tutuila. You see it in aussie an nz the samoans prefer the american way but at least the one in aussie an nz still have a striong sense of samoan. compared to thoes it states.
I totaly agree, sum of us here in NZ and Aus we do like to remind ourself wher we gme frm, but u find thres more of us that dnt wnt nything to do with our culture and that is preaty sad, I pump in to couple of friends in Otara market a while ago (we used to growup together in Samoa) talking to them in samoa and they reply in english, and they said they forgot the language already after being here 5years.(what eva.. wanna be) is not a bad thing but, you know,
I just viewed all your video's and I have to say...PLEASE CONTINUE TO DO SO!!!! Every clip that you've recorded heighten's my awareness of being proud of who and what I am. I'm very sure that it will affect others just the same. There are a lot of Samoans out here in the USA "longing" to know who and where they come from. They just need videos such as yours to remind them of who they are.I beleive if you continue to do this, you will create a following or a "call" to the Samoan people
Nice video Iese Amuia si uso na e fai mai e leai ni mea e fai i Samoa........damm in my days we were loaded with chores left right and centre........times have changed

The American way is to make money. To start a new way they live.. Thats why different cultures and different religions come to America..
But honestly.. Its a shame that now and days technology sets boundaries on culural diffusion as well as many assimilation towards the culture..
