  • Love this song !!!

  • living legend............

  • OH MY GOD, I am sure he must have had Cups and Cakes from Spinal Tap going around his head when he wrote this one. Doooooooooooo

  • Sir . <3

  • complete cunt!

  • @JackieP1978 Yeah you're going to hell.

  • is this from 2002 cause it was released on 2005

  • The drummer looks like a rocking buddha! XD

  • I can't whistle D:

  • It is a truth universally acknowledged that Mr. MaCcartney is one of the few musical geniuses alive. I fell in love with him when I had no conscience of myself, the first day my 16 year old brother played a Beatles record...and that was in May 1968. I've always been in love with him.

Thanks Paul for your words and music. Winter eve's wouldn't have been so sweet without you! With all my respect,

  • Such a tranquil feel to this song. It brings you into the soul of his music ability for a cup of tea, pun sorta intended. But you really feel an artist constructing this peaceful country meadow around you and you can't help but ask for some sugar.

  • ((°J°)), *o¨, °I°, °P

  • 4 people prefer coffee over tea I guess

  • @3rdpug I think you should sort your life out as you are clearly unhappy & twisted for saying you wish death upon my favourite beatle...how is paul evil & vile? If i heard you saying that & i think fans would agree, I would get very angry & possibly smash something over your head as you're thoughts are sick but hey then what would i be....i'd sink down to your level you slimy maggot. I think you should reflect on your disturbing behavior!! I await your comeback as i know filth always comes back!

  • @3rdpug you clearly have no taste in music if you criticise the greatest & most successful artist (along with MJ) you sound like an evil little fuck & coming on to a McCartney song & insulting him is beyond ignorant as it's full of HIS fans, he has written HUNDREDS of amazing songs & what's he done that makes him a pig or vile? You're a little worm & for saying that I hope someone cuts you up like they're slicing a cake. You're no better than chapman for wishing death upon a beatle, my favourit

  • @3rdpug nobody gives a pile of shit what you're saying, you insult the most successful songwriter in music history (true fact, look it up you fucking prick) you should hang in the gallows for wishing death upon a legend & how fucking dumb are you? You go on to a song when you don't even like the artist, who does that who bothers listening to a song & saying how much you hate the artist,

  • Sweet song

  • Very nice song :)

  • i just had a cup of English Tea with Paul McCartney Oh yeah baby im living

  • 0:07 OMG PAUL IS SO HOT!

  • esto es musica d excelencia

  • MORAISITO O FUGITIVO - the best!!

  • Yes, Paul, I would care to sit with you. Hell. I would drink oil sludge if you asked me to.

  • i love it how sir paul says gay and trying to bring it back to mea happy

  • @paumccartneygirly1 He is actually saing hiphoray, friend. Love this song.

  • I really want some tea now

  • When i hear a paul song on the radio its either beatles or wings. Play some recent work of paul mccartney. The stations i listen to well they don't play new songs only the classic rock songs but i can't listen to the stations that play today's music cause the music they play is terrible, No Paul McCartney.

  • @LennonMeringuePie Waiting for the sun?

  • ,,refreshing...^^

  • @ipolson Hey, somebody with taste

  • awesome

  • love paul

  • Great song, but this is why radio sucks as they never play any of Paul's more recent works.

  • Sir Paul did a great job creating beautiful lyrics.

  • Man cleavage on the drummer, so in right now, lol

  • This could have fit right in on the white album.

  • @magicman4293 Sounds like "Martha My Dear".

  • This song is very Paul's taste and is my cup of tea. Lovely!

  • How cool are Paul Winkers and Abe Laboriel Jr??

  • That "peradventure" sign at 1:12; I saw a sign that said the same thing when I saw him in Toronto. :)

  • @3rdpug

If he had wrote it back in his heddy days you'd think it was great.. Which it is !

    Retard

  • Sir Paul's songs make me think of all things beautiful and innocent.

  • good man macca. keep the dream alive!

  • Really love this song. It's very atmospheric and peaceful, and I like what someone wrote about it reminding them of Alice in Wonderland.

  • wow!!

of course i would like to sit with you for a cup of english tea!!!

    that would be wonderful!

  • I don't even like tea, but i would give my left leg to have some with him...

    LOVE YA PAULIE!!!!!!!!

  • @sweeneysbabe63 Heather Mills gave her leg to be with him, so it works :P

  • @sweeneysbabe63 HEATHER?!?!

  • @BeatleJohn420 Oh yeah hunny you caught me hahahaha

  • I love the drummer

  • Get off mommys computer and show some respect.

  • what the hell?

paul mccartney is still awesome and i hope he keeps singing until he die.

    he'll never be a joke!!!

he's already a legend you idiot!!

  • This was a great concert. My daughter was soo happy to see herself and me on this video at 1:40. It was amazing to see just how many kids were at this concert.

  • I think I'll go have a cup of tea now.....

  • Good idea, i will do the same

  • This sounds like if he'd written it during the 60's, amazing.

  • The Beatles make me cry becasue they are very talented and i wish be like them.

  • This is kinda for no one. Why didn't he wrote more like this in his solo career?

  • The melody is excellent as well. Seems a really tough super intimidating 15 year old keeps commenting on how much this song sucks, but he's a moron. This is excellent music. The lyrics are visual and warm but I can see why a young person with an undeveloped brain and imbalanced hormonal levels would think he's too cool for school, too cool for a song about tea.

  • I want the English tea))))))

  • Only the first two chords actually. The rest is different.

  • English Tea is SUCH a Beatles song. It would have been a Paul song that John would have hated but we'd all love, i.e. When I'm 64.

Paul just doesn't get enough credit for his solo work. Put the name "Beatles" on it and suddenly everyone loves it.

  • I love this song (^-^)

  • Mr. Most Sexy Legs ;

Would you care to sit with me

for a cup of English tea

    Very twee, very me

    Any sunny morning...

What a pleasure it would be

You let me... setting on your lap

    Nanny bakes fairy cakes

    While you're tickling my belly

    Every Sunday morning...

  • i lke this song ^^

  • I love this song almost as much as i love paul! my dream is to see him live!

this song reminds me alice in wonderland. which is good! i love that movie too!

  • God I love him, and his song too! He is amazing artist. Several years ago, while I was attending in grad school in America, I travelled England for spring break, I got to have a chance to taste English tea. And it was great! Now I am in Korea, and I don't drink English tea, instead, I drink green tea.

  • this song is awesome ur a grandmother LOSER!!!

  • This is not a simple "Mary had a little..." song. It may sound like that to you, but it's kind of complex actually. It's hard to make songs work with chromatic basslines. awesome!

  • Oh, so you're just a homophobe. This song is not awful.

  • UR AN EVIL BASTARD

  • You disgust me, you twat.

    >>GO PAUL GO!

  • Tea and light refreshments with Paul McCartney is most palatable. I love this song.

You can hear that Beatle influence, circa 1967. Paul McCartney is an extraordinary artist. He may be an ordinary bloke, but damn, he is an artist of extraordinary caliber.

  • He's not ordinary at all. There're very few these kids of people in the world. Go Paul!

  • @BeatleBangs1964 came from very little in Liverpool to.....an immortal...:)

  • @BeatleBangs1964 amazing comment :)

  • I loved this video of English tea most. Awsome and joyful

  • I live in germany and I realy like black tea, especially Earl Grey, but the Earl Grey tea you can get here in germany is almost rubbish. You nearly have to kill someone to get good english tea.

Hm, and now I'm sitting here, drinking english Earl Grey (a friend, who spend his holydays in England, bought some for me) and listening to this amazing song ...

  • Thanks Paul for this cup of English Tea!

    Good!

  • rather cute.. to cute?...I say no to that

  • i think i was at this concert

  • u suck balls

  • Who's the drummer?

  • @Bellantoni Abe Laboriel, Jr.

  • @rarellanoh I've been sitting here waiting for a response I thought it would never come. Thank you

  • Lovely!

  • Adorable!

  • By the way, he does this song on his CD Chaos and Creation in the Backyard. (Awesome name for an album, btw) It doesn't sound nearly as good as it does live, though

  • When I have a cup of tea I want to hear this song, and when I hear this song I want to have a cup of English tea. It's a vicious cycle.

  • It's said it costs an arm and a leg to see Paul live, I think I might pay that just to see this one song. I'm a 14 year old guy and I don't really know why but this song makes me want to cry, it makes me so happy.

  • Amen to that, and I'm a year younger that even you!

Paul McCartney live??? I'd just die!!!!

  • I love this song so much .... It sounds like a TV commercial in a praire with little chairs and cups of tea ... Beautiful Paul!!!

  • I would sit and drink English tea with Sir Paul anyday. I like this song. :)

  • I was here Philadelphia 2005

  • I love English tea. I love Paul.

  • i love this song!

  • I love Paul McCartney, i've done a project on him for my Arts Hero haha

  • Bleh.

  • Yer kez ur right this song is cool ha

  • That's Paul McCartney; that's rather rude to say!

  • The only reason this version stands up to the album is because Paul and Abe whistle...

    It doesn't sound fake...

  • I'm American and I'd love to sit with Macca with a cup of English Tea! That's a right proper honour!

    ^_^ I love England!

  • Im suprised by the lack of Americans commenting on this with comments about "Tea drinking fagots etc" I have to say its a lovely change

  • Why would you expect that? I love this song.

  • Because the rest of the internet is full of it. Take a look at any English military tribute or whatever, and theres racism galore. I suppose that kind of person is allergic to Sir Pauls musics :D

  • Paul McCartney is the greatest man of all time!

  • This is like a real Beatles song. i love it. Paul and THIS band are so great. I hope they go on tour again. Paul is the best live musican alive in the world!!!

  • I love this song!!!

  • I don't really like tea but I'd force it down if i got to talk to Paul.

  • I'd re-phrase that for you; I don't like tea, but I'd force it down if I "get" to talk to Sir Paul.=) same here mate.

  • yeah, get does sound better.XD

  • would care to sit with for a cup of english tea...very twee very me any sunny morning...what a pleasure it would be chatting so delightfully nanny bakes fairy cakes every sunday morning

  • I love this song super

  • Ahh, the Britain of yesteryear. He should have inserted a line or two about all the poor orphan children working sixteen hour days in the dark satanic mills. JK

  • very very very Beatles!!

  • very beatle'esque this.. it's quaint

  • What's really cool is the age variaty in the audience. From babies to old people. I love it.

  • :) i saw that on TV i love PAUL!

  • I play this song once a day at school in the cafeteria, it doesnt get good result from kids and there punk ass shitty music but its awesome IMO

  • I Believe God took a piece of music spirit, send it to earth and called it Paul McCartney :)

  • Thats a great quote. good good good...

  • Thanks abelpass... Merry Christmas :)

  • He actually took two pieces of music spirit and sent them to Earth. Indeed one is Paul McCartney, the other is John Lennon. :)

  • Right on :)

  • Where is lovely england? The village cricket match; Brian Johnston and John Arlott? Brings back fond memories of a past which is being swamped by brash Americanization?

  • Hahaha he always makes me snicker when he does that fake tea pour thing. He does it everytime he performs the song.

  • One of the better things he's done post-Beatles, I think. Has that very familiar, semi-classical surreal sound to it.

  • Lol, he's so nerdy when he pretends the pour the tea at the beginning.

  • This is classic Paul. Sounding as he did on Revolver. Awesome!

  • totally agree

this song is to me, like the optimistic side of For no one

    AMAZING

  • Right you are my friend. Paul covered quite a bit of Revolver on his last tour. I don't think anyone could pull off writing these type of songs successfully anymore except for Paul.

  • that's a good comparison, it's like the part where they're whistling could have been a french horn solo

  • i loooove this song and the DVD

  • incredible song from the new album.this will become a classic.

  • One of his best songs ever. As good as anything he's ever done.

  • A song about England to two astronauts hovering above the earth. Good on Paul to get his English roots across.

  • sweet image.
