@k0smon I think it's that the old and new testaments contradict. Correct me if I'm wrong, I should Google that just out of curiosity. Christians are supposed to follow the new testament. That's why I'm switching from lutheran. The old is important to know but when it takes 90% of services I don't consider that Christian. Jews use the old testament but I don't think they follow it too closely. Specifically some of the contradictions like kill witches.

@washhtsfinest184 maybe something got lost in translation but it say on judgement day god will judge the living and the dead. You can't go to heaven or hell until you get judged on judgement day. Unless your an insider like Jesus. It doesn't say when you die you'll be judged and then on judgement day only the living will be judged.

@KB9NLL when the dead the flesh dies and the soul leaves the body,the soul lives on.so when jesus comes back to pick up his church the dead will rise and be judge first i guess from my understanding that the dead will rise and everyone will be judge by god but read your bible and talk to ur pastor

Is it possible that the bible is wrong? More that possible. Bible scholar Bart Ehrman says the bible is full of contradiction and error. Current investigations into psychic phenomena are more revealing than a 2000 year old book.

I agree that spirits/ghosts/aliens are probably demons or maybe also good angels. However the statements that someone who died is in heaven or hell now is wrong. On judgement day god will judge the living and the dead. Then they'll go to heaven or hell. Until then i think they are in a holding area and the time between death and judgment day is instantaneous.

I used to call myself a satanist but I definitely did most of those things and embraced and welcomed satan in the past. He has never directly tried to harm me since I left the church. The bible was written by men BELEIVING that god was speaking through them. It has been shown that the bible has at least 3 distinct writing styles and the vocabulary changes. Why would god have 3 distinct ways of speaking and writing? I love christians, more power to you, but I can't just take someone's word for it

@caljones How is your point proven? God was the author of the Bible, theomatics is as an invisible signature and can not be duplicated. The 'men' were taking the dictation. As a mystic, I have had this experience myself. It was not from me but from God. As for slaves, ask any Hebrew, they know their own roots better than those who are opinionated.

Hebrews 9:27 states: It is appointed for man once to die and then after this Judgment! also The Bible states in 2corinthians 5:8: To be absent in the body is to be present with the Lord. When you die your time on earth is over. period. There is no unfinished business that can keep you away from the Judgment of God. think about it.. everyone has unfinished business. I lived in a haunted house that had a boy and a grandmother and a demon.. turned out all to be the demon playing with me.

When Jesus entered into the locked upper room,His disciples thought that He was a spirit,but Jesus said a spirit does not have flesh and bone as they saw He had.Jesus confirmed that spirits are real with His statement.People who hunt Ghosts are just being deceived by these demonic entities,they are causing many to believe that people still walk the Earth after death which is contrary to the Bible.When one dies his body goes to the grave,but his spirit goes to Heaven or Hell.
