So many people love this game, yet i can't take the art style seriously. Dragonball was awesome, DBZ was... well the good ol' cheesy DBZ. And DBGT was a bad fanfiction. It's just everytime i see Crono i think he's going SSJ3.1415 on my ass.

You just don't pay attention. Compared to the DS and SNES version, the PSX version does indeed have asinine loading times. It's a well known issue even Square themselves mentioned.

All disc- based games have load times, some worse than others. I guess it all depends on the condition of the disc as well.

The scenes were actually hand animated, cg wasn't used for the game (to the best of my memory anyway).. Really showed Akira's character design and how based off of his Dragonball characters Crono and the gang was.

For the load times, you could play the DS version, it has the PSX cutscenes but takes away the 5 second load times from menus as well has an extra dungeon at the end of the game... In any event, I love this game, no matter where it is played and it'll be good to see it again.
