Very intriguing. I have read the Saga of Njal, the Saga of Egil, and the Saga of the Laxardal. I expect to read a good many more. This video of the exhibit in Reykjavik is quite compelling. It captures the atmosphere of the Icelandic Sagas beautifully. Fantastic! I have got to visit Iceland, this museum in the national capital, and various actual sites of the sagas in the dramatic Icelandic countryside.
Hello. The Museum has headsets to describe all the stories, so what you see from my video is only part of the presentation. The National Museum is very nicely done, as is the Settlement Exhibition. If you want to visit sites connected to the Sagas, Reykholt is a good one - you may then wish to go, via Flatey island, to the West Fjords and check out the Sorcery Museum at Hólmavík!

Hello.
Thank you for your commentary and suggestions.
Yes, I have visited a number of sites dealing with the Sagas (online), and I am hoping to visit Iceland and visit them first hand, as it were.
Iceland is so starkly and austerely beautiful!
The setting helps to explain the dramatic tone and nature of the various Sagas.
