Latoya is not only a truly decent example of humanity, she's very insightful. Her husband has faults, but he recognises them. He's destined to improve with age. Marguerite, though improved for the cameras, is using her eldest daughter to support herself. Without Ashley there'd be no obese females in the home. Lose Ashley & she loses most of her reasons for behaving as she does. Both women have really serious problems.

I fail to see where people are saying Marguerite handled herself well. While she didn't nut up as bad as she did in the last show she did, she is vindictive and rude in how she went off about Abasi to Latoya. No Abasi did not behave himself as a gentleman, but even when he attempted to calmly apologize for his behavior and explain his anger, she rudely shut him down and AGAIN refused to listen to him. I don't think the fact that she lived with her parents was the problem. It is the fact that she was not acting like a mother and was bossing her sister around that was the main problem. The family dynamic in the western world has only changed the last hundred years as people became less seen as part of a family but more as an individual. Most people in rural areas around the world still have close family ties where the grandparents live with the children. It has nothing to do with age.
Have you noticed that not ONCE in this episode has she spouted of prayers to Jesus and clutching her bible? That was totally an act. Such a disgrace. I'd be embarrassed to know this woman.
She has a few times prayed. It's just not the normal way people would perceive as prayers but she did speak to God. Have you put it in thought that she possibly changed to be more respectful? That other episode she felt was in a religious battle, this episode is more of respect towards self being itself. She probably didn't feel much of a need to use religion.
Yes and this is not always the best plan of parenting. I'm black but my uncle has never moved out of the house at almost 40 yrs old and it makes me sad because he has never learned to depend on himself alone and what will he do once his parents are no longer there for him? I can also see my friends that still live at home (who are white) greatly take advantage of their parents, doing and getting away with anything (including stealing from them) because the're parents won't kick them out!
She needed this for her reputation and the show needed her for ratings. ...I'm 18 to 19 next month, 'white' (down in Puerto Rico)...and I Feel Ashamed of the Fact that I Still live with my parents!! I would move away If I had the money or contacts or W/E. WTF!? She's 23 and Still lives there?! The first time, the Hypnotherapist gave her 10,000 to help her move! Did she spent it all on facial lotions and towels? I don't think the fact that she lived with her parents was the problem. It is the fact that she was not acting like a mother and was bossing her sister around that was the main problem. The family dynamic in the western world has only changed the last hundred years as people became less seen as part of a family but more as an individual. Most people in rural areas around the world still have close family ties where the grandparents live with the children. It has nothing to do with age.

She has a few times prayed. It's just not the normal way people would perceive as prayers but she did speak to God. Have you put it in thought that she possibly changed to be more respectful? That other episode she felt was in a religious battle, this episode is more of respect towards self being itself. She probably didn't feel much of a need to use religion.

Yes and this is not always the best plan of parenting. I'm black but my uncle has never moved out of the house at almost 40 yrs old and it makes me sad because he has never learned to depend on himself alone and what will he do once his parents are no longer there for him? I can also see my friends that still live at home (who are white) greatly take advantage of their parents, doing and getting away with anything (including stealing from them) because the're parents won't kick them out!

She needed this for her reputation and the show needed her for ratings. I'd say everybody wins - she's still kind of bitchy in this show when she gets to be away from Abasi's insanity, but she's actually justified in being upset this time around. I've never seen anyone treat a person the way Abasi treated her.
