Untrue. Geneva only bans states from FORCING civilians to move from into occupied land. This doesn't apply to the settlements because 1) nobody is forcing Israelis to move and 2) since Israel conquered the West Bank from Jordan, a nation which illegally took over the area, it is not occupied land under international law.
Still, this concerns me as a atheist supporter of Israel. A religious IDF wouldn't be as bad as Hamas, but it wouldn't be an improvement.

Well, in a sense you are right! the sad thing is that so-called "atheist churches" are taking place. It's a paradox to the main philosophy of being atheist: self-dependance, thinking by yourself. You can agree with a group, but once you join them, you will sooner or later go over your own thoughts and morals in order to remain a part of the group, since you made it your identity or a main part of your identity.
